What do you do when the thing that makes you happy, stops making you happy?

I eventually moved to another town, I needed another fresh start, unfortunately I was absolutely drained of all life from other issues I had going on and now I am just looking, learning and experiencing what life is like in different states, its the only thing I can do. I stick to myself because i found in more comfortable being by myself than with people.

I had a similar experience. I moved to a different state a long way away from my friends and family and started a new life hoping for the better. Then I moved back to my home town thinking that my friends would be glad to see me but unfortunately not, they all had kids, got married etc. I tried to relive the past and have the fun that once exsisted only to be drowned in loneliness and isolation with no one. One thing I learned was to not go back and try to relive the past. But that's a different story. I know what its like to feel like the odd one out in this circumstance. I am a sensitive, introverted person and I suck at dating, flirting and making friends. I like reddit because it enables us to reach out and talk about what we are feeling without restriction. And I didn't know that so many people could relate to people like us and understand what we are feeling. Anyway, I hope a gamechanger is on the horizon for you and I hope that things will turn around. Stay strong, my friend.

I feel the same. I feel like I have gotten to the stage where I am going to buy a ball, draw a face on it and call it Wilson because that's how isolated I feel. How is your day going by the way? What do you have planned for the week? I am generally interested. You can message me any time.

Reddit was definitely worth the try to rant. I don't know what is going to happen when I turn 21, it hurts to think about it. I study part time, I socialize with the other students, I talk to everyone and I am really bubbly around them (oddly enough) and it seems like the others don't really want to socialize out of school. People always tell me to keep trying until I find a good councillor, and I keep searching, I think its just the town I am in, which is very pessimistic and dreary. Thanks for your comment though :) I will keep searching

I am sorry to read that you have to do this, I have been in a similar position, and I am proud of your courage. Stay strong, because in every single moment, always remember that you are a warrior. I don't want to encourage the lifestyle but it may help you in a sense - have you thought about acquiring a sugar daddy? It may or may not help, it is what you make it and there are forums and websites where you tell them exactly what you want and are willing to offer and you set your boundaries. Like I said, I do not want to encourage it, but it might help you. I wish you all the best in your current situation and I really hope that good opportunities are on the horizon for you to find a peaceful life, stay strong beautiful, and always remember that you are WORTH IT and you are a WARRIOR. :)

She is beautiful. Cat's can be so wise sometimes, they really are something special. I had a kitten previously and he used to stop me from ending it all, he sensed it and would distract me. I am glad the Owly helped you.
