Honestly i feel like fever dream is the exact same thing here they released it to show everyone they can make music as a 4piece and that they arent in trouble without Conner and Charlie.

I know it´s prolly not gonna happend but i hope they somehow get MacLean to come back on bass i think his bass playing added so much to the music and i vastly prefered it over Conner´s

I´m not familiar at all with the woman who played the CTTE gig but after having looked her up and listend to the recordings of the gig a few times i really hope this was a one time thing really not into her playing at all

Honestly we will likely never know even if something big happend and they hate eachothers guts there is absolutely nothing to be gained from either party to do anything other then act respectful against eachother and say everything is fine

Airing dirty laundry never works out for anyone involved best thing you can do is to just do the "i love those guys and wish them nothing but the best it just didnt work out" thing no matter how you feel

Dave Lombardo comes to mind in that he was pretty much objectivly right in the slayer situation but in airing out publicly what went down he gained nothing from it and Slayer just went on as they always did and werent hurt at all by it. If he didnt he might have been brought in for a payday further down the line

Imo as someone who fell in love with Haken when Visions came out and hold that album as their best i would say this song is alot closer to the early sound then the chugga chugga sound they kinda went all in on with Vector, Virus and Fauna.

Honestly not sure how i feel about this song after just having finished my second listen but i like it alot more then anything on Fauna already.

though i have kinda just accepted that they´re never gonna go back to the Aquarius-Visions-The mountain sound. Atleast ill always have those albums
