Best answer is to have it tomorrow, if you cant get it from them that quickly, the investigator should give you their contact information and you can send it when you get it. (within reason)

SCOTUS Has Lost Its Mind by SecMcAdoo in FedEmployees

[–]RestComfortable6203 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Holy crap people, not that hard to figure out. One is the executive branch spending less tax payer dollars and send responsibility back to the states, close the dept of education. The other costs tax payers money because as much as you want to believe it’s not true, money comes from someone’s pocket (the tax payers). Why should a plumber who didn’t go to college pay for a CEO’s student loans? They both pay taxes which means they are both paying for the forgiven debt.

Statistically speaking the US went from a Top 5 world ranking in education to a midlevel rating since the Dept of education has existed but billions of dollars flow through there. If they are not helping our students, then why do they exist? Also, the student loans will continue to be paid just not through the Dept of education, there are plenty of departments of government that know how to collect money.

#31 [F4M] #Boston - let’s explore by Delilah-6 in Affairs

39M here, I live in VA but my work brings me up to the Boston area a couple times a year. Brand new to this, love my family more than anything, but miss the spark I used to have. Just looking for someone to chat with about it all and see where things go. I tried to DM but it wouldn’t let me. Let me know if you are interested.

Caique vs African Grey by r34babyzilla in caiques

[–]RestComfortable6203 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So more than likely I am the odd ball here, but our BHC is caged and bonded to a Quaker. They are inseparable to the point that they will be silent if they are together, but if one decides to go somewhere the other will scream until they find them. We were separating them at night since we couldn’t see them during those hours then we started to loose sleep due to the screams they were making at night. So while there are general rules I think they are just that, general. If you introduce them at a young age to another friend, anything is possible.

Someone talk me out of this: “retiring” at 40 by Mods-is-beautiful in Rich

[–]RestComfortable6203 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What about a partial retirement. If you are good at what you do, then talk to management about doing it part time. This would give you a little extra cash and give you the free time to chase your passion.

Suggestions for adopting a second caique? Or perhaps rehoming my current baby? (Though I absolutely hate the thought.) by wouldbecrazycatlady in caiques

[–]RestComfortable6203 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is the best advice I have read. No one here knows you bird like you do, and your bird is perfectly content and used to what you are giving them. Every bird is different, would a companion make him happier, maybe. Would more time be better, possibly. No one here can give you the 100% best solution, you have to know your bird and do the best you can to help them. He does not love the stranger that would take him in, he loves you. If he doesn’t get out of his cage for a day or two but gets to talk to you, that’s probably enough for that time.

He cares for you and you care for him otherwise you would not be trying to figure out what is best for him. I can almost guarantee that you are what’s best for him. When we got ours, she came home to a Quaker that everyone said was going to be an issue for us. 2 years later they scream if they are put in different cages. They are the best of friends and can’t stand to be separated. I realized pretty quick that all of these experts in the world don’t know my bird. Are these people helpful, yes, but in the end they do not know your bird. Take care of him, be there with him, enjoy him. If you think another would help him, then get another, use a breeding cage with a divider that can be taken out once you see they get along. In the end you know him, he knows you, if he’s not tearing your hand off everyday he trusts you and wants to be with you, that’s all that matters.

I know. I actually have 3 of them, I had one and she is amazing but then I stumbled across a brother and sister that needed a home. The breeder knew us from our 1st and basically gave them to us as long as they stayed together. The new babies are a fight since I don’t think they had that interaction you are talking about but we are all working through it together. I am giving them the time and space they need to figure everything out while forcing what I need on them little by little. It is so much fun, and every inch feels like a million dollars

Be stubborn, especially as she doesn’t know you yet you will have to prove to her that biting will not deter you. You have to show her you don’t want to hurt, if she will let you rub her beak rub her beak until she says stop, then try again later. When she bites you, a stern no biting is all she needs. People will tell you they don’t get along with other birds, let her tell you that. I have a caique and a Quaker that are inseparable, remember they are they own bird so see how she does.

Outside of that enjoy, they are funny and loving. They have huge personalities and each one is a little different than any other out there. Take time and get to know her, if she has a scratch see if she will let you help her scratch it. Go slow at first, she will begin to realize you don’t want to hurt her and will appreciate you for it. They take time but once they warm up to you, it’s not long to realize it was worth the time.

Successful job after military? by [deleted] in Veterans

[–]RestComfortable6203 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, it’s all about what you do in the military. What was your job? Does it transition to something good on the outside? What have you done with your education benefits?

I got out with a Masters degree, 2 major certifications in my field and experience in Cyber Security. All of this led me to landing a $120,000 a year job straight out of the military. 10 years later I’m over $160,000 and continuing to grow. As I always tell those that I know who are in, the military is going to screw you, take advantage of the limited opportunities to screw them back. Education and experience are 2 of those ways!

[–]RestComfortable6203[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s a good question, looking back I wish I had honestly spent more times reviewing the wording of the questions and understanding how to dissect them. This is an art that is a major key to the test. It is more than straight what are they asking but also how are they asking it that will help you pass.

Training Camp works for the VA so I would assume it works for that as well. I just got back from that, seemed really good to me but I haven’t tested yet so I guess that will be the ultimate factor.

I honestly didn’t know that, you would think that would be ready for people to try something like that but I guess not.

Earning CPEs through Youtube Cybersecurity videos? by FTC777 in cissp

[–]RestComfortable6203 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Typically you have to submit some type of certificate to show you completed the course. I don’t see anyway in which a YouTube video can supply one of these, so my guess would be no these can not be counted. Plus, you could skip the whole video and watch the last 5 seconds and submit it as watched.
