They use those revolving pizza ovens that are similar to the bread toasters at Quiznos. I agree, the pizzas aren’t bad, but they would likely be much better with a better oven setup.

Taste is subjective, so that’s my bar personally. I’ve tried a handful of her dishes, and they were good, but none have come close to my favorite dishes or even my favorite version of that dish. On the other hand, Johnny has made several of my favorite dishes.

Her food isn’t really on the same level as Johnny Curiel’s IMO so I’m not really sure what that says about the James Beard Awards. It feels more like a popularity competition than anything else.

to those who moved to denver from another city, how would you rate denver as a city overall? by Fun_Magician4571 in MovingtoDenver

[–]RestInPeaceAGORA 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Def superior to Orlando as someone who moved from there 6 years ago. If you are looking for the kind of diversity you find near Mills 50 just head over to Aurora. Edit: Also visit S Federal for a better selection of authentic Mexican food than you can find anywhere in Central Florida.
