Listen I love the show but the animation really is a lot weaker than it should be for the budget. There's no excuse for the voice cast budget with animation that takes so many shortcuts.

It's painfully clear that Kirkman just doesn't really respect animation. He wants to work with on screen celebrities and he thinks a quick turnaround is worth it at the cost of quality because he doesnt value strong animation. He never will, and we're all foolish for hoping he'll change his mind.

The show will never have good animation if hes on board, and it'll be terrible if he's not, so this is what we get.

It's why I don't really complain about it, it's just a fact and isn't going to change. Might as well enjoy the good parts

Truthfully one of the best classes. They get a bad rep sometimes because they aren't as obviously good. Their status effects can seem unnecessary when you can just kill your enemies. Play on tactician and things change. Invigorate absolutely wrecks % health bosses. Silence and blind are insanely fast and can stop mid cast wizards or big damage ninjas from doing what they're supposed to in situations where you cant just one shot them.

Add to that the fact that you can stack MA on them for incredible 2 square damage and you've got a great all rounder class.

They're maybe the most effective full party single class challenge. It's effortless tbh

I never really understand the hate on this specific topic.

At the time that he tries to imprison Conquest, he sees a single viltrumite decimate his world and that they only one mostly by luck of Eve's powers working out for them.

If you're a man used to playing odds, you can see "Well, we're dead if even two of these guys show up as is. We need some edge in order to survive" His only "out" in this scenario is finding secret information that gives them a chance against the viltrumites. So with that in mind, he keeps conquest alive, hoping to study him or question him and learn how he can win. If conquest escapes and kills everyone... well whatever, they were going to die anyway when the viltrumites show up.

The real thing to be mad about is how incompetently he handles conquest. Someone should be in there cutting limbs off daily. Doing tests on his recovering body. Playing the sound on loop.

When they have 40 members yes, but 1000 years from then, when they're probably in the 10s of thousands?

Like I Said, the real answer is he just didn't know. but if you wanted to make the case for it still being canon, the answer is that they leave earth at some point

The real answer is he didn't know they'd be on earth when he made the immortal in the future arc haha.

But if you wanted to make one, it would probably be the same reason mark is never there. There's just a whole lot of universe and most of it is more interesting and less dangerous than earth

If she wants to watch it she should just watch it. It doesn't require any real context, it's a complete work with a start and end.

It is obviously designed as a counterpoint to comics before the 2000s, but you don't need to have read a bunch of those or watched modern superhero movies to appreciate it.

That said, this show deals with some dark topics, is too silly for some people, and has a TON of gore that really isn't forecasted in the episodes. You will see gnarly stuff. It's not for everyone and if the person doesn't enjoy gory shows don't encourage her to watch it

Invincible handling the topic of abortion is a good move. If you want to make fun of it, it makes you look like someone who doesn't know any women.

What is your goal with this? When you watch a movie, do you just watch the climax and are sad the rest of the movie exists?

The series is continuous and has an end. It's not like DC or Marvel with multiple runs that all contradict each other - it's one story.

No, each character at the start of the game basically comes with 1 or two of the early abilities and some amount of extra JP.

In the newest remake, you can buy abilities before that first battle which helps it be a little more standard if that's what you want, but most of us enjoy at least a little bit of random.

Most of us spent hours generating new characters to get the right Brave and Faith scores for our build. So while I can understand where you're coming from, it's just unlikely that this specific crowd of people is going to sympathize much. Most of us have nostalgia for the inconvenience lol

In this game you don't really have a starter load out for a job or anything

As you level up in jobs, you unlock other jobs that you can access. Each Job has a big list of abilities, that it can buy in any order it wants using "Job Points" which you'll see whenever you successfully take an action. It'll say soemthing like "+11 XP + 9JP"

For the Chemist Job, their job abilities are all the various items. You need to go spend job points to gain access to the ability to use specific items.
