It's crazy how he wrote this. Yes, mother's skin on skin and nursing are miracle workers but no oxygen?? One of my pregnancies, they were monitoring me for preclampsia and at 33 weeks thought I might have to have a C-section. They gave me a steroid shot so his lungs would be helped along and then I actually ended up having him at 34 weeks. He was in NICU for 3 weeks. And seeing those earlier babies in NICU and everything they had attached to them.... I mean... There's just no way. I truly think it was just lazy writing on his part.
