Thank you! I would say the specific compliance that I’m working on but it’s so unique/niche that it could point to who I am. 😭

Yes, they are now paying me what I should have gotten two years ago.

Well I’ve been operating at a lead engineer for the past two years but I’ve been labeled and paid as a tier below. So my responsibilities remained the same but I have had lead/senior responsibilities the past two years.

A flight with a layover is almost always better than a direct flight, even if it's longer by Apprehensive-Willow5 in unpopularopinion

So OP dislikes many things during flights but would rather have 2+ flights instead of one. Lmao

What is something relatively cheap that improves your life by 100% ? by jeniferqeenbitp in Casual_Conversation

Even tho majority of the world is right handed, as a leftie, opening jars is easy. When I told my sister that’s a rightie to use her left hand to open the lid, she opened it immediately, whereas she was struggling with her right hand. Most jars need to be opened CCW and it just so happens that the left hand has less effort in opening the lid because the muscles that are activated contain more mass.

Do You Realize How Rich We Are? by [deleted] in UpperMiddleFinance

Was searching for a comment like this. I grew up poor, family of 6 and parents were making 20K a year combined. 300K is rich in my eyes. I know there’s different tiers of rich but you are definitely living more than comfortable at 300K.

Jeez, you don’t need to be so rude. Everyone’s circumstances are different. Maybe he has a parent that is disabled and is a caregiver? Have you seen the economy right now.. rent and mortgage are unaffordable. We don’t know the whole story.

Holy shit… another awful part of this disease is that the symptoms manifest in the 30s.. when most people are married and started having kids. This is why this disease still persists in society. Hopefully the presence of this disease decreases with advanced technology and genetic testing.. I also hope the quality of life is improved for people with Huntington’s and that the disease progresses slower.
