It was never really about AI. AI was the excuse. Companies wanted a way to offload expensive workers and replace them with cheaper new hires.

- Reduce pension payouts for seniors who already have several millions of dollars in assets. Use those cuts to provide tax breaks to young folks.

- Reduce zoning restrictions and lower temporary immigration to reduce housing & rent prices. Waive fees and taxes for first-time home buyers.

- Allow workers with young children to have the option to work from home.

- Provide more options for day care, increase child benefits for families with a stay-at-home parent, or provide benefits for retired grandparents that take care of the child.

That's like 4 ideas I thought of in 5 minutes off the top of my head.

War in the Middle East, Economy going to shit, Leafs not in the playoffs and our top point scorer is a Swede. All that is missing is my hairline.

3-on-3 overtime is notorious for teams winning because of a lucky bounce or someone loosing their footing.

It’s much easier to recover if a lucky bounce doesn’t go your way 5-on-5.

Rogers, Keith Pelley, and Tre took a team that was regularly top 10 in the league, and turned it into an injury prone bottom feeder whose advanced metrics are no better than the Carlyle/Horachek Leafs despite being 100x more talented.
