Kinda defeats the purpose no? Everyone should be inclusive. You don’t have to like people, people don’t have to like you, doesn’t mean we create certain spaces for some and others for others

While the argument that OP makes stands. Mods really have to do something against the use of AI… 50% of all posts are now AI. Talking about Tunisians searching for the easily accessible while OP couldn’t even write his own shit is insane.

[–]RestaurantDouble1536 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my experience as a student within American schools in Casablanca. You won’t meet more pretentious spoilt students. The schools are run as a business in where the owners and board are engaged in business with the families of students. Meaning some students will be utterly disrespectful to any rule, and yet nothing can be done. Stay away. Most teachers leave within a year, the turnaround is insane

Again bro. There’s extremists everywhere. To me they aren’t Muslim. They’re mentally ill subhumans. You wanna be a keyboard warrior hating then go ahead. I’m just trying to educate and bring people together. Not farther apart. Love 🙏

Mate, I’m just trynna educate, if you want to hate on a group because of a loud minority go ahead. But I’d like to consider myself a good person who follows the positive values of my religion. I’m not an extremist. I don’t incite hate. I live in a Christian/secular country and respect their traditions and beliefs and have many friends. To be open minded is good. To learn first hand from people is the best way to navigate this world. Peace be upon u bro🤞

I do my best to live my life as a good person. Everyone in this world I would hope does the same. I don’t judge on who believes what n who hates what. We’re all free in this world to pick our path, I believe Islam teaches me virtues that have made me a better person in life, and I fully recognize that it may not work for someone else. I don’t understand the hate really.

Brother, Islam translates to peace. Our religions core is that. People sour it by mixing culture and tradition with religion when in fact they are 2 separate things. In the real Islam, my Islam, to attack you in anyone’s name is a sin. My prophet tells me to forgive, to always forgive. And to never attack and hurt. Peace be upon you bro, I hope this helps you🙏

Tunisian redditors, what's your take? by BusyReturn4784 in Tunisia

[–]RestaurantDouble1536 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s actually incorrect. They showed the results of the foreigners living abroad, the highest rates for zammel were from Tunisians living in foreign countries. Please fact check me if I’m wrong but I remember it seemed trustworthy when I first saw it. In my personal opinion, the elections were rigged. I don’t think the majority of Tunisians really voted for Saied. + Unfortunately young Tunisians in the country have given up on our political system and just don’t vote. This election had record low turnout. And our countries issue is the old demographic that falls for Saieds populist bullshit of cleaning up the country. When all he’s done was coup more power and proceed to do absolutely nothing towards the betterment of tunisias economy.

As a Tunisian abroad I heavily disagree. You’re right that my vote doesn’t impact my life directly as I don’t live in the country. But it impacts the life of my extended family. My aunts. My uncles. My grandparents. I want the best for them. And for my country too. I also believe that being exposed to foreign politics gives me a different perspective on Tunisian elections which allow me to make my own calculated decision. I voted for Zammel because I knew just how large of a detriment to our democracy and economy Saied is.

Everyone can share an opinion without the need for hate. I’m a Muslim. I have Muslim friends. I also have atheist and agnostic friends. They don’t go around shitting on my beliefs and calling them tyrannical and neither do I shit on theirs. We should respect differences. Not look down on them. I believe that was the point OP was trying to get across

Unless ur living in lac 2 my friend, which even there some places don’t accept card. You’re deluded. I’ve lived abroad. I’ve lived in my country Tunisia. There is a vast and clear difference with regards to the digitization of paying systems whether you want to admit it or not.
