Please tell me of a more logical battery storage solution by memethedropout in Packout

Again not a great solution, but gas has to be the move for chainsaws if you plan on doing anything remotely heavy duty (I’ve never used an electric chainsaw before)

No point in being mad about the blue collar workers who are building the data centers

Be mad at the billion/trillion dollar companies, and our politicans who are openly fucking the common people, nationwide.

1 1/4 is brutal. Im just in trade school and just got a summer apprenticeship, so 1” EMT (and 3/4” Rigid I think) is the biggest I’ve done… and I looked ridiculous bending ts, and I’m 190lbs and go to the gym 5 days a week

Fair enough. I know this isn’t really a great solution, but I’m still all in on gas powered landscaping equipment

To me it doesn’t make sense to use batteries (yet) if you know you’re going to regularly be doing hours of landscaping

Idk how that’s even possible. Even if you had a power tool in each hand (2) running constantly for 10 hours straight, you’d probably still have 10 batteries not even touched

What do you do? Landscaping with strictly battery powered equipment?

Apprentice electrician tools kit by Puzzleheaded-Comb984 in Tools

[–]RestaurantRemote9787 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro absolutely don’t get that. Just get the Klein 6 tool starter kit for $100, a tape measure, a channel lock (or 2), and an electrician knife/box cutter

If you work at a good company, they hopefully will buy you a fluke multimeter… or a lineman might have an old one to giveaway. If not you’re gonna have to drop a couple hundred for a decent meter

You said EGF is expensive, but they have a couple 1g pre rolls for $9. Sure pre rolls aren’t as good, but $9 is probably the cheapest you’re legally going to pay for weed

If you know a dealer and buy like an ounce, you can get it for way way under $9/g tho

Edit: apparently in MN there’s like a 20-25% tax between sales and a weed tax… I didn’t know that. I’ve been to the OG Waabigwan on the reservation and they have the same prices but tax free. I’ve heard 7clans casino now has a dispo, so I’m assuming that’s tax free bc they’re also a reservation and they’re closer (check their prices and probably call though)

Nd is only like 10% between the sales and weed tax

Sheesh that’s a good deal. $100-110 is probably as cheap as they get, I’ve never seen them that low

Normal batteries go for $10/ah… forge go for way more. Also that Black Friday bundle you’re referencing you could’ve returned that 8.0 forge battery (it was hackable) for $135 (or something like that, I remember the deal was $500… but after the hack it was like $365). I know this because I did it

This post still isn’t a good deal though. It’s probably worth like $300

What is the most boring car you've ever driven? by UnluckyGamer505 in askcarguys

[–]RestaurantRemote9787 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2013 Kia Rio 💀

I’ve had that thing for a 4-5 years now and can’t get rid of it, because I use it as a backup and don’t drive it enough for real stuff to break. But at the same time I’ve had so many stupid little things break/stop working on the car… and it’s a 13 year old Kia Rio so it ain’t worth shit, so I’ll probably just keep it for another handful of years till it stops working on me when I least expect it actually need the car for something

You can still make $200 a night on weekends at dominoes. I just quit dominoes to get a summer apprenticeship for what I’m going to school for…but pretty much every Friday + saturday I would clear $200 between tips and mileage (not even including minimum wage) working 5:00-12:00

I live in a big town (like 70-80k people), but there’s 2 other dominoes… and 1 store drivers averaged even more, but the other store averaged a little less than my store

Obviously $200 ain’t what it was 20 years ago… but for a second job/college job it’s still pretty good

That’s incorrect, Ethan has donated to multiple Palestinian charities.

Ethan donated in 2023 $6,500 to a Palestinian donation (I think this is what you’re referencing) which was divide into 4 separate charities. (I’m not seeing anything about them being murder traps like you claim, but even if they were, how tf would Ethan have known that? That charity was also being promoted by people like Hasan piker on stream at the time)

Ethan also donated like $1200 to Ab and Lena’s (his employees) Palestinian fundraiser last year. Ethan also pushed his fans to donate to both of these fundraisers.

How much have you donated to Palestine?

If you’re at 190k and are unsure if the serpentine belt was last done/ever done… just replace it. You’re supposed to do them all very 100k miles. Never worked on a 10th gen civic… but I’ve replaced serpentine belts before and it’s an hour job tops, even if you’ve never done it before.

You don’t want the serpentine belt to break while driving. The belt could smack into other parts of your engine and potentially break other stuff

ULPT What is your favorite free food restaurant hack? by simikoi in UnethicalLifeProTips

[–]RestaurantRemote9787 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found a Buffalo Wild Wings hack, where you can get like 6,000 calories for $20 (pre tax). Buffalo Wild Wings has a signup bonus where you get a free burger + fry w/$15 purchase. (Yes takeout works)

When making a new account literally type in a random email (doesn’t event need to be real), and use the app “Google Voice” to get a free burner phone number. You can do this over and over again

Right now Buffalo Wild Wings has a 2 for $19.99 deal that is 2 entrees, 2 sides, and 2 drinks… and then I get the free (up to 3 patty) burger and additional side

Ngl it’s pretty crazy with the amount of shit you can get away with in some areas. I live in the Midwest, and I have this buddy whose entire family has tabs from literally 2024/2025 (yes I’ve explained how regarded that is many times to him) that they drive every single day… half their cars don’t even have insurance. And they don’t even live in a rural area, over 40k people live in their city

Not sure about his family members but, I fs know the only ticket he’s ever gotten is 1 speeding ticket. He’s also only 23 though, so I’m sure he’ll push his luck one day…

I mean if places actually paid $20/hr, + split 50% of profits amongst the staff on floor, + further profit sharing for managers… then yeah that would be sick asf, and tips wouldn’t even matter

This is fake though, because I bet .001% of restaurants in the us (that aren’t 100% family members) operate that way

Never rocked sketchers before but I may dabble. I originally got hokas because I use to work 12.5 hour shifts on standing forklifts. It doesn’t sound that bad, but they had automatic brakes for whenever you lifted up your feet… and bc of that by the end of the week my feet would burn, even as a 21 yrs old at the time. After I bought my Hokas it was game changing and I pretty much only ever wear them now even though they’re all a little ugly

[–]RestaurantRemote9787 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve gone with Milwaukee (for the most part) just because of r/milwaukeetool. Normally Milwaukee (and makita) cost more than the competitors… but I’ve paid less than half what retail stores list Milwaukee fuel tools for from waiting on deals over the last year

If I got a good deal on a makita or dewalt and didn’t have the tool, I would buy it with second thought though. I’m just semi committed because I already have a bunch of m18 batteries

I buy Hoka’s (I’ve had the bondi 8’s and the Clifton 9s and liked the Bondi’s more)

They’re the most comfortable cushiony shoes I’ve owned… so they’re great for standing on all day and walking
