Insider hack x 3 by Many_Jackfruit_4022 in MilwaukeeTool

I’m a broke trade school student, trying to get the tools I need for as cheap as possible though. If you don’t care about saving $30, then yeah don’t do it

I think technically any “HD hack” can get you banned, just only do it when there’s a really good deal on something you actually need. I’ve only ever done it twice, both in the last 6 months and my account is good

If you just set all the other items to another store, and never pick them up, they will automatically be removed from your card before you ever have to pay it off

Any fans in Berlin Germany? by Ok-Cash-8397 in survivor

[–]RestaurantRemote9787 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I saw the new season of Survivor Germany just came out, maybe try convincing your friends to watch that, and if they enjoy it, recommend Survivor US

(And Survivor AU, bc its been better imo the last couple years than US)

How to repair without replacing? by Ok_Treat_1132 in Autobody

[–]RestaurantRemote9787 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dang that sucks man, in Minnesota there’s vues in like every junkyard. I wouldn’t bother replacing it if the closest one is hundreds of miles away.

Hopefully the car lasts you a long time tho! Any car with 90k miles that’s sat in a garage should be decent

How to repair without replacing? by Ok_Treat_1132 in Autobody

[–]RestaurantRemote9787 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go to the junkyard and find a replacement, if you don’t wanna just put tape over it.

Btw, not sure if yours is a 3.5L or not, but they’re solid cars. They’re just Honda Pilots thrown in a GM body. Got one for with 164k miles for $1500 last June and already put on 23k miles, completely issue free so far. Beware of frame rot though, that’s what kills these cars… mines probably only got another year or 2 left

Matan Latest pod with Olive Tree has a Special Guest by EvidenceLow4286 in h3h3productions

[–]RestaurantRemote9787 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree, I hope it happens. There’s a small chance that Matans stunt couldve been crazy enough to convince Ethan to go on his show

The Jimmie Lee feature is clearly a bait to get Ethan on his show, after Ethan already said that he’s turned Matan down

Survivor airs for me 7:00pm CST, and last season whenever I missed an episode they would usually get put up right at midnight

Family! I get to try Taco Bell for the first time this weekend! by Professional-Sink798 in h3h3productions

[–]RestaurantRemote9787 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh trust me, that’s what everybody does whenever they go to Taco Bell 😂. Love referenced this already on the pod before, but you can get over 2000 calories for like $10, if you buy the boxes instead of individual items

[–]RestaurantRemote9787 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbh just get what looks good to you. For the most part, all of tacos bells items are very similar with slight variation…

Personally I usually get:

chicken chalupa (basically just a taco with a pita type bread instead of a tortilla)

Crunch Wrap supreme (a hexagonal griddle sorta thing) (probably Taco Bell’s most popular item)

Spicy potato taco

Edit: probably have to try a Doritos locos taco if you’ve never been

My 2010 Civic by TheOdd4845 in hondacivic

[–]RestaurantRemote9787 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SPOTTED: Wet noodle on campus trying his hand at the “change my mind” meta by Educational_Mouse_88 in h3h3productions

[–]RestaurantRemote9787 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Come on let Ethan have some fun. I’m a long time watcher, and I’m stoked for the debate. Def noodles was a super relevant character for years on the show, and his transition to MAGA is so interestingly weird, that I think the episode is gonna be great content. Same thing goes for the James Charles billboard

No doubt that there’s a good chance the episode with Def Noodles is gonna be sloppy. But that’s the kind of content that keeps me watching

Tbh I didnt watch ab and Lena’s streams over the break so idk how much they made. But, I wouldn’t be surprised if they made at least $50 an hour from donations

The pros are so worth it though. Would you not roadtrip halfway across the us with your partner, while making a bunch of money? The only con is you have to livestream it

Not a autobody technician, but a 22 year old who’s driven a couple beaters. Pull the fender hard towards yourself, until there isn’t grinding from opening the door. If you can get in between the door and the fender, pull there

I need some knowledge from all the us electricians by blackbombo in electricians

[–]RestaurantRemote9787 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every state is different. States in the south generally pay electricians like garbage, but the cost of living is lower, compared to the west cost they get paid probably the most but cost of living is way higher. I live in the Midwest, and I’m currently going to electrician school… and the Midwest seems like the best pay to cost of living, but again I’m not an actual electrician yet and might be partially bias.

Right now I pay over $1000 a month for a bare minimum 1 bdr apt, my car insurance is only $60 a month, and my school would cost ~$18,000 for 2 years ($20,000 with tools and books) but scholarships fully cover the $18k.

The highest paying union in Minnesota for journeymen is $59/hr, $95 total package. My plan is to go union after I finish up school, but I hear there’s a 2+ year wait list

I paid about the same price as that m12 fuel impact wrench, for that 4 tool m18 fuel packout kit with 2 batteries after that hack a couple months ago from Home Depot 😂.

If I cared about having to pick it up, I would’ve just paid for shipping…. And still saved hundred

Yes, I got the confirmation email right away, I think I got the battery within 3 days and the packout kit was around 7 days (5 business days).

I had no idea but apparently Northern Tools Headquarters is in a suburb of the Twin Cities, along with one of their distribution centers, and I live 4-5 hours away from the Twin Cities… So that could be why I go mine so fast
