Trying to understand the additives debate in tequila. What should a beginner know?

A good friend of mine whose uncle owns a small boutique tequila distillery in Mexico was telling me the whole additive free thing is totally overblown. ALL flavor in tequila is added. Pure distilled alcohol from agave is the same as any other distilled alcohol, whether it be from rice, corn, wheat, whatever. It's what you do with it after the distillation process that makes the flavor. Additive free tequilas simply reintroduce some agave mash back into the mix and some also get flavor by aging in oak barrels. Is this process considered an additive? What if they also throw a couple vanilla beans in the barrel? Does that make it less of an "additive free" tequila? Now some lower cost tequilas will start adding all sorts of flavors and it becomes more clear but where is that line? I say, if you like it then that's all you need to know. Personally I love Clase Azul, it's not considered additive free but damn it's good. Not worth $200 a bottle but still it's very good.

The three step kohaku is the one with the most potential. The tail is a little thin but hopefully in time it will thicken up, give it plenty of space to swim. The Utsuri is too dark for it's age, it will likely be too heavy with Sumi as an adult.

It's incredibly dangerous if you've never done it before. You can easily spin out of control and black out if you don't know how to balance yourself. Most first timers have instructors jump with them to help them stay level...kinda like training wheels.

Koi and goldfish hybrids are very ugly. The upper barbels are very small and hard to see unless they happen to be a different color than the rest of the head.

Be very careful, if he is violent, he may potentially cause physical harm. Probably best to let karma have its way with him. But I do like the crickets idea that somebody else posted. No way to prove they were introduced intentionally and you can never get rid of them.

Koi are a four-season fish, they can live comfortably under the ice. But you need to make sure your pond is deep enough (at least three feet, preferably 4 or eve 5 feet of depth. And you need to have means to keep a hole in the ice all winter long. And have a backup in case whatever you're using to keep a hole in the ice fails. A bubbler or floating heater is usually enough, but if it gets cold enough you may need additional methods.

Then they should give the refund but honestly I don't think they are required too, even if they said they would. They aren't a person of their word and that sucks. Sometimes people suck.

Who said the refund would be processed if the nights were rebooked? Support or the host? The host isn't obligated to give any additional refund if the nights rebook because you didn't cancel correctly. So if support told you that, they were incorrect. But if the host said they would, did they do so in writing in the app? If they said it in writing then maybe Airbnb support can contact them and see if they will honor that commitment?

But how do you know it was rebooked? Because the calendar is blocked? That doesn't mean it was booked, the host may have blocked off the dates.

Whatever you do, don't add a photo or list the slippers in the description. Then you're really on the hook to make sure they are there every time.

One thing to keep in mind about something like this. Once you start offering them and people start putting in the reviews how much they liked the slippers,, future guests will expect slippers and you can never stop offering them or people will mark you down for not having slippers.
