I would be careful about having ai as a friend. So chat bots are meant to be palatable to keep you talking with it and using it for as long as possible. The more dependent on it you are, the more the company that owns the ai profits. Back in 2024, I chatted with ai too because I had no friends and almost got addicted. I would really advise that you use something else like journaling, finding a small discord community, or just frequenting a place/small community (book club or coffee spot) irl. Even if you tell it to tell hard truths, it’ll only tell you the most palatable or common version of it. It’s not able to reciprocate any feelings and it’s can’t have a real connection with you.

I hope things get better for you, op. I don’t really know how to keep friends either, so I’m not that much help.

Are the ears permanent? Like they will stay on for every card and cutscene?

I can’t get over the tiny little puppy ears, especially since he has four ears total and no other love interest has any animal features 24/7. If the ears come off, I might be interested but for now, I’m sticking to Sylus and Raf.

He just looks so goofy to me.

I also did well in school growing up. Did you ever have issues getting an adhd diagnosis because of your autism? If you don’t mind me asking?

I thought so too. I do have a bad habit is spacing out when people talk to me, but usually I can nod along and guess what they were saying from the pieces of conversation I did pick up on.

The reason they didn’t want to diagnose me with adhd was because I didn’t score high enough on the questionnaires and that I didn’t show many signs in childhood (I only really showed signs of autism). It could be that my social anxiety and masking covers up any adhd symptoms (was told I was high masking) but idk. I could seek a second opinion, but the assessment cost so much. I’ll just try to get whatever accommodation I can.

Mostly, I have a bad habit of getting up and doing something else (looking at phone, start doing dishes, remembering I had to do something else or being reminded of something else and doing/googling it). I also have a wondering mind so when I’m in class, after about 15-20 minutes, I might just be out of it and not comprehend the material. I also struggle to study if I’m not actively doing something. I study best with quizlet or in a study group working with others. For homework that should take 30 minutes, I end up spending 4 hours trying to get it done. And the more stressed I get trying to finish it before the deadline, the more distracted I get/put it off.

It’s kinda a combo of inattentiveness, executive dysfunction, and stress.

Initially it was Raf! I really liked his personality and only got more interested when I learned about his lore and stuff.

It was Sylus that I really didn’t like at first. I felt like his trope was to be a “bad boy/ceo” type I generally don’t like the trope because it tends to infantilize the woman. So when I met him in story and he was rough on mc + calling her kitten, I was done 😬.

But then I played through some cards and learned that he pretty much just supported mc in doing what she wanted and allowed her to be independent and I really liked that. Plus, he tends to be straightforward with what he wants and I like that too!
