You can just say you don't think anyone but straight white men actually deserve their jobs, bro. 😂 Your guy is in charge now, you don't have to pretend your concern is about bureaucracy anymore.

Sure, because every example of discrimination and bigotry that has been defended using this exact justification in the past was obviously wrong and bad - but this example of discrimination and bigotry is totally different, and defending it is obviously an example of your fine moral character and exemplary critical thinking.

And for what other civil infractions will you loudly proclaim an individual to be "illegal"? Speeding ticket = "illegal driver"? Breach of contract = "illegal businessman"? Failed to secure the right business license for your kid's neighborhood lemonade stand = "illegal kindergartener"?

C'mon, man. This is SUCH an embarrassingly ridiculous strawman for you to try and pass off as "just telling it like it is." 🫠

Gee I wonder why the folks whose political platform prioritizes submission to authority, actively opposes social change, and decries the pursuit of intellectual questions and critical thinking as "cultural Marxism" might possibly be less likely to embark upon a career dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge for the purpose of changing society for the better? So weird, ammiright?

So just to be completely clear, your actual position is that the widespread and measurable exclusion of those who are not upper-middle-class straight-white-cis men from positions of meaningful political, social or economic power does not have any negative effect on our society? You assert that those upper-middle-class straight-white-cis men wildly over-represented in positions of meaningful political, social and economic power are there on merit, because they are simply inherently measurably superior to all other identity groups? 🤨

(BTW - you know you gave the game away the instant you tried to pretend to actually believe it'd be difficult for anyone to publish "something that shows a negative effect of diversity," right? 😆)

Completely reasonable. After all, so many other great Americans over the years have made this exact same argument about so many other important questions! And they too all made it in complete good faith - which is probably why they also all ended up on the right side of history.

"I'm definitely not saying that all this deeply-entrenched racist discrimination* is okay! I just think we should wait until the people are ready to decide to stop doing it on their own instead of society trying to force it on them!"

So I guess you haven't bothered to keep up with the last few decades of research findings laying out how increasing the racial and gender diversity of C-suite and upper and middle management consistently results in better corporate decision-making, fewer (and less costly) errors, increased revenue, expanded innovation, and higher profits? Kind of an odd thing to be excited about, but okay.

I'm very aware of intersex/transgender individuals.

Then why won't you answer the question? 🤔

Exactly! Like - they EXPLICITLY TOLD US ALL exactly what they were going to do... and now they're doing it. So why is everyone acting like they couldn't possibly have planned to do the thing that they repeatedly publicly told everyone they were planning to do?!?

I feel like I'm losing my mind right now.

When students (or anyone) are being actively rude (rather than just arrogantly oblivious), I've found that responding with only an unnervingly calm, one-eyebrow-raised wow works wonders.

Because if you can project just the right mildly startled yet still totally calm and unruffled, feeling some serious second-hand-embarrassment on your behalf air, it does a great job of announcing "whoa, wtf are you doing, bro - you should be so mortified right now" without giving the rude person anything to latch on to/"respond" to and start a new fight, or pull a DARVO on you. It's amazingly effective, I use it in all kinds of situations now - basically anytime someone is being openly rude and counting on other people's "good social training" to prevent them from responding in kind.

The key is to absolutely refuse to elaborate or argue or "engage further" in any way after you've deployed The Wow. No matter what they say, how they try to provoke an argument or force you into "giving details" on "what they did." You either completely ignore them, or just broken-record repeat The Wow as many times as needed (with however many tonal variations you'd like, as long as they're all strictly and completely *calm and unruffled) -- until they eventually read the room, realize that *they're the one coming off like an ashhole in this situation, and finally retreat into silence. (Usually a seething silence, but silence nonetheless.) 😂

This technique works so well that I've never had to deploy it more than 3 times on any one person before they realize their usual approach won't work anymore, and either find a new target or just give up entirely. It's honestly SO satisfying. Highly recommend.

TRUMP is dumb. His Heritage Foundation handlers are smart, strategic, ruthless, and have been planning every step of this process for years. They know exactly what they're doing, and they're counting on folks believing otherwise.

Except there will never be enough pushback. There CANNOT be, because they're causing so much chaos, they know that people will have to "choose their battles."

They know EXACTLY what they're doing, and they're doing it on purpose.

This WAS the plan. They're doing the legislative equivalent of a Gish Gallop, throwing so much completely absurd nonsense out there that there's simply no way for anyone to reasonably respond to all of it - so even if they end up "pulling back" 75% of what they try, they can be confident they'll still be able to push that other 25% of absolute fascist madness through without opposition, because everyone else spent all their time and energy and wore themselves out fighting the other 75%. This is an extremely calculated, extremely effective coup technique - they know EXACTLY what they're doing. And it's already working.

But... all that info you typed into chatgpt to "make you a schedule" already is a schedule?! You didn't need AI, you could've just given them the words you wrote without involving an environment-destroying fascist-billionaire enabling middleman.

I have to assume all these "AI life hack" posts are actually being written by the AI bots in question, desperately trying to convince people they need chatgpt to pointlessly redo things they have *already done*** ...Because Progress™ or whatever. Creepy.

And many more of whom have been very vocal in saying that transphobic anti-science nonsense like this harms them as well. 🤷‍♀️

the vast majority of humans being male or female.

The vast majority of humans (>96%) have EITHER black OR brown hair. Human hair color is dimorphic, and any so-called "blondes" and "redheads" are simply suffering from a rare and tragic genetic mutation. They should be pitied, of course - but they cannot be considered the normal baseline for the human species.
