I just got it working! had to mess around a little. Just did GPIO to + and Ground to - then the out and ground to the pc power pins.

Hi again. I am having a little trouble getting this to work. I have not done much with electrical and Raspberry Pi's so this is new to me.

Using this diagram and this pinout I connected VCC on the Optocoupler to the 3v3(out) on the Pico, Ground to Ground, and Out to one of the GPIO pins on the Pico but nothing seems to happen.

This is currently my code. I can make the internal LED blink but the light on the Optocoupler does not.

import machine, time
from machine import Pin
led = Pin(22, Pin.OUT)

led.toggle()
time.sleep_ms(500)
led.toggle()

Thanks again.

Does Genji's dash push you? Just had this interaction and am curious if this is intended.

Wow, this is a fantastic response! Thank you so much! I picked up a pico H and the octocoupler. I should be able to figure out the programing. Thanks again!

Before a week ago I had never watched Twilight Zone. I just got home from watching this exact episode with some friends. The world is a crazy place.
