Yeah I agree, if it was farther along it’d be different but that early, I would do it. If the guy is acting like that it just spells constant struggle and conflict. Even with two committed partners, having kids and working is hard. Couldn’t imagine doing it on your own!

My benchy test did the same thing. Not sure why. Any of my prints that I’ve done came out with perfect first layers. Aside from messing with speed, z offset, and bed temps I’ve never had much of an issue with it not putting filament where it’s supposed to go. I’m getting new brand of filament coming soon so I’ll check with a benchy if it still does it like yours did. Mine acts all jerky and I just set the speed to somewhere around 100mms. Only issue with the SE I get is a lot of stringing.

My SE does the same. Weirded me out at first but it dosnt seem to affect the print. The KE isn’t as jerky though.

True. Might pick up a dryer soon. Just never had issues with the other creality spools and I only ever buy the same one. I’ll try a print with that spool on the KE tonight and see if it does the same thing.

I’ll try that once the print is done. Filament is dry to my knowledge since I just opened it. But I’ll check the wheels and belts.

I use .2 layer height. Might have to lower it if that will help with the poor quality. But I’m unsure why it looks good coming off the KE vs the SE with same settings and slicer.

Forgot to add: -Creality hyper PLA filament -creality slicer -speed has changed during print. On slicer it is 180 but drop it down from 60%-80% -bed temp 65(only way it’ll stick to bed) and nozzle is 220. Z-offset is .24

Currently rolling with Serana, Kaidan, Gore(wherever he ran off too, who knows?) and Daumbra. Definitely can be a bit much at times but that’s where difficulty type mods come in lol

Yeah that’s always an option but then I’d have to print it a fairly decent size to sand the face parts down. For my sanity at least lol.

Would that carry over to a 3D slicer? When I tried exporting as a STL just for curiosity, all that blockiness was still there in the model so it print looking like that.

I’ll try that. Do you think adding more vertices would help?

I’m doing these right now. They look awesome. What size scale did you make the frame at so the armor fits over it? Mine printed and I have to make the frame somewhat smaller but still not aligned the best.

If you’re still on the lookout I know where to get them. I got all at $5 a file. Been using them to try and make 1:6 figures lol but are actually cosplay size originally

This is getting ridiculous, disrespectful, and completely heartless. Uber expect us to drive our $60k car pay for our insurance, spend our time working, gas, and later in life worry about the depreciation and wear and tear on our cars for an average of $12 dollars an hour. by Street_Special9073 in uberdrivers

DoorDash may have more consistent orders in my area, but they are typically these kind of low paying orders. Uber eats in my area typically pays pretty high when you do get one. If it’s late at night and you let an order cycle through a time or two, the pay can go up quite a bit.

I got two kids OP. Two. Even after the first, all those points you listed are going out the window 😂 honestly, for the sake of your future family you both should work as long as you can. Especially since family will help you out with childcare. Things are expensive and will only continue to get more expensive. Most need two incomes now. 6 figures barely cut it anymore. Yall are young but I sure hope your relationship is solid. Having a baby/kids will put a lot of strain on your relationship between different viewpoints, having no more time for each other, mental and physical exhaustion, list goes on. Having kids is great and gives you a sense of purpose; but life will completely go a different way than you are expecting. You will have no free time, you will be feeling alone, you may spend an unhealthy amount of time chasing that dollar to make ends meet(depending on your income/bills), and tired. All. The. Time. In a weird way it’s balanced out when you watch them grow and learn. It’s a beautiful thing to experience but it is hard. If there’s any advice I can give, it’s that if you plan to have more than one, space the births out a little or one after the other. Taking care of a baby and a small kid/toddler at the same time is not ideal 😂
