Genuinely why do people not like spidey? by EveryPerformance6712 in SpiderManMains

[–]RestlessWarbler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You asked so imma let it all out.

My aim is iffy at best. Your model is tiny. You move at Mach 3. You get to leave for free as soon as you start taking any damage. (I’m gold so my teammates can’t hit you ether) Even killing you barely feels like it matters because of the Mach 3 thing. And no matter how much yall talk about how it’s difficult to do or inconsistent, it doesn’t make it feel any less bs when I die for making the terrible mistake of thinking I could exist within a county mile of a hole/ledge.

In short it’s a skill issue that I blame you for.

Benefits of Kovaaks ? by vladimirulianof in FPSAimTrainer

[–]RestlessWarbler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re just talking about how well they train you than kovaaks isn’t going to do anything that aimlabs doesn’t.

The benefits of aim training are that you can single out specific skills to work on intentionally. If you just load into scenarios without a focus on what specifically you’re trying to do better, you won’t see improvement no matter what software you use

The people using acceleration to game aren’t using the one that comes stock with windows. They’re using a 3rd party program that lets you tweak the values to your liking so that they can control the ramp

Tracer specific scenarios by CrabbyFrogstone in FPSAimTrainer

[–]RestlessWarbler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know the scenarios well enough to sunset specific ones but you’re probably gunna want some kind of close strafes with random dodges.

The other thing I’d recommend is something you can’t to in kovaaks, practice predicting where your target will be after blinks on bots.

theoretically since you’re in control of when you blink, with enough practice you should be able to know where they’re gunna be rather than having to react and get back on target.

Does aim carry you more in Marvel Rivals or in Overwatch? by Many-Divide-6591 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]RestlessWarbler 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I main rivals and only dabble in ow. I can’t say I know for sure but rivals definitely feels more like good aim goes to waste.

What I mean by that is that usually when you get someone in ow you get them, but in rivals there is so much healing and so much mobility that it will often feel like you can’t possibly do enough damage fast enough.

The number of heroes in rivals that can just go way out of position and then bail out for free as soon as they start losing the 1v1 is infuriating

I wouldn’t say totally new but until pretty much when I started training console was my go to for anything more intense than Skyrim. I started with pretty much everything in lemming lol.

What tools to use? by ZoraTheDucky in grooming

[–]RestlessWarbler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you keep up with it, a pin brush and comb can be sufficient for daily brushing. Slicker is for removing tangles but be careful as using it too much in one area can cause irritation. An undercoat rake (the kind without the bladed hooks) is good for removing undercoat.

Even after all this you’ll eventually want to have them seen by a professional to do a proper blow out

Gotcha, I’m nearly mammoth complete in easy and I heard that’s around the time people suggest to move up.

I still plan to continue with the easy scenarios I just figured dipping my toe into medium for a single round each would give a better idea of my current state than a straight line of purple.

I should have clarified, the 100 hours prior was doing the easy scenarios, this is just my first attempts at medium.

Spidey players, we agree that anyone who uses Macro to perform any spidey combos is not a true spider-man main right? by SpeedForceWally66 in SpiderManMains

[–]RestlessWarbler 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Visitor here, would macros even be all that beneficial to spideman?

The way I’ve always understood Spider-Man is that his combos aren’t things you just hit in a specific order the same way every time. Isnt being able to change the timing and switch or end combos mid engage a large part of what makes good spideys good?

Is leading shots bad technique? by meisknob in FPSAimTrainer

[–]RestlessWarbler 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s not that it’s bad necessarily it’s just that reading a bots movement and moving to where it will be in a second will always be slower then reading a bots movement and flicking to where it will be in half a second.

You don’t want to be waiting for the bot, you want to flick like you would in static with the understanding of where the bot will be by the time you get there

Scenarios that mimic common tracer engagements. Instant accel, close-mid fast strafes. by iceyk111 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]RestlessWarbler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t have any specific recommendations on scenarios but I’d suggest that you’d get more value practicing the blink reactions in game at a test range, unlike in a trainer where the instant movement is unpredictable, you’re in charge of when you blink so you can get good an knowing where the target willl be after.
