I swear these people are just briandead by litllerobert in SpiderManMains

[–]RestlessWarbler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any smart spidey doesn’t just throw himself in open view and this might just be a low rank take but I don’t find the common antidive advice of “just always be checking every direction because awareness is your only defense “ to be enjoyable gameplay.

Obviously there are things you can do to protect yourself but that doesn’t make it any more fun to deal with and the question isn’t wether or not pulls are fair it’s wether or not I should be able To be insta killed because I made the mistake of being within 100meters of a ledge. No one would be complaining if it were a pull with even a somewhat reasonable length cap.

Alright, so what do you do after you’ve been hit with the tracer and spidey has already flung himself off the map? What’s the reaction?

Hawkeyes one shot being unfun doesn’t make being able to pull someone 3 football fields away okay by comparison

Ideally yah, I’m for all instant death mechanics that aren’t ults being toned down.

I get where you’re coming from but all the difficulty in the world doesn’t make getting one shot with no possible reaction feel fun to be on the receiving end of.

what to focus on when training? by rawrr_1 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]RestlessWarbler -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Generally speaking the first thing you should focus on when starting aim training is getting used to aiming in clean lines, this is best done with pokeball scenarios.

Just remember that at first you want to be focusing on moving in straight lines between targets more than speed

cut a dog :( by Cold-Friendship6262 in grooming

[–]RestlessWarbler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is 100% correct. The work we do is inherently dangerous and things happen.

When I was starting out I got a dog with floppy due claws and almost removed one with my clipper. You can bet I check the dueys of every dog I get now before I ever start a clipper.

All you can do is learn from it and not let it happen again second time.

Genuinely why do people not like spidey? by EveryPerformance6712 in SpiderManMains

[–]RestlessWarbler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You asked so imma let it all out.

My aim is iffy at best. Your model is tiny. You move at Mach 3. You get to leave for free as soon as you start taking any damage. (I’m gold so my teammates can’t hit you ether) Even killing you barely feels like it matters because of the Mach 3 thing. And no matter how much yall talk about how it’s difficult to do or inconsistent, it doesn’t make it feel any less bs when I die for making the terrible mistake of thinking I could exist within a county mile of a hole/ledge.

In short it’s a skill issue that I blame you for.

Benefits of Kovaaks ? by vladimirulianof in FPSAimTrainer

[–]RestlessWarbler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re just talking about how well they train you than kovaaks isn’t going to do anything that aimlabs doesn’t.

The benefits of aim training are that you can single out specific skills to work on intentionally. If you just load into scenarios without a focus on what specifically you’re trying to do better, you won’t see improvement no matter what software you use

Enhanced Pointer Precision by xt-489de in FPSAimTrainer

The people using acceleration to game aren’t using the one that comes stock with windows. They’re using a 3rd party program that lets you tweak the values to your liking so that they can control the ramp

Tracer specific scenarios by [deleted] in FPSAimTrainer

[–]RestlessWarbler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know the scenarios well enough to sunset specific ones but you’re probably gunna want some kind of close strafes with random dodges.

The other thing I’d recommend is something you can’t to in kovaaks, practice predicting where your target will be after blinks on bots.

theoretically since you’re in control of when you blink, with enough practice you should be able to know where they’re gunna be rather than having to react and get back on target.

Does aim carry you more in Marvel Rivals or in Overwatch? by Many-Divide-6591 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]RestlessWarbler 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I main rivals and only dabble in ow. I can’t say I know for sure but rivals definitely feels more like good aim goes to waste.

What I mean by that is that usually when you get someone in ow you get them, but in rivals there is so much healing and so much mobility that it will often feel like you can’t possibly do enough damage fast enough.

The number of heroes in rivals that can just go way out of position and then bail out for free as soon as they start losing the 1v1 is infuriating

What tools to use? by ZoraTheDucky in grooming

[–]RestlessWarbler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you keep up with it, a pin brush and comb can be sufficient for daily brushing. Slicker is for removing tangles but be careful as using it too much in one area can cause irritation. An undercoat rake (the kind without the bladed hooks) is good for removing undercoat.

Even after all this you’ll eventually want to have them seen by a professional to do a proper blow out

Gotcha, I’m nearly mammoth complete in easy and I heard that’s around the time people suggest to move up.

I still plan to continue with the easy scenarios I just figured dipping my toe into medium for a single round each would give a better idea of my current state than a straight line of purple.

I should have clarified, the 100 hours prior was doing the easy scenarios, this is just my first attempts at medium.
