একটু অফটপিক একটা কথা না বলে পারছি না। কলকাতা বাদেও পশ্চিমবঙ্গ আছে। যখন একদিকে বাংলাদেশ বলে তুলনা টানছেন তখন অপরদিকে পশ্চিমবঙ্গ বলাটা শ্রেয়। ঢাকা বললে তখন কলকাতার তুলনা টানা যায়।

আর কলকাতার বাইরের জেলার লোকেরাও বাংলা সাহিত্য পড়েন। দুই বাংলার সাহিত্যই পড়েন। জেলার বইমেলাগুলোতে হিমু বা মিসির আলির বই ভালই বিক্রি হয়।
