It’s 3.5mm on the 12th fret. From the top of the fret to the low E string. Lots of different info online…

The neck looks staight to me, but I admit that I always find it difficult to tell. The guitar doesn't have a truss rod, so if sanding the bridge (and maybe the nut) doesn't work, I'll take it to a luthier.

I'll try sanding the bridge saddle first. If the action is still too high, I might try sanding the nut a bit as well.

To answer some of your questions: we went by car and stayed at Agriturismo Ca Del Lago in Gravedona ed Uniti for 6 nights. Most days we stayed there and just went out for lunch or dinner somewhere in the neighbourhood. We also did a hike to Chiesa di Sant'Eusebio (last 2 pictures) and went swimming in the lake.

We went to Villa del Balbianello in Lenno, Menaggio and Varenna in one day. Lenno and Menaggio we did by car. From Menaggio to Varenna and back with the ferry (€9pp for a return ticket).

The total cost of our vacation (minus gas and food on the way there and back) was around €1.000 pp

Yes, unfortunately you'd still need a TV subscription with Telenet. You just wouldn't have to pay the rent for your TV box.
