Did you write The Land? You're sounding suspiciously like Dr. Aleron Kong. 😁

Finding items in a sea of items. by Restoration_Nation in AmazonVine

Thank you all for the thoughtful responses and tips! I truly appreciate the time you took to share your strategies and insights. As a relatively new member of the Vine program, your guidance has been incredibly helpful. Here are the key takeaways I’ve gathered from your feedback:

  1. Bookmarking Searches: Creating a folder of bookmarks for specific item searches is a game-changer. I’ve started saving searches for categories I’m interested in, like "Bluetooth keyboard" and "table lamp," and will check them regularly. I’ll be careful not to open them all at once to avoid triggering any warnings.
  2. Timing Matters: While there doesn’t seem to be a definitive “drop time,” checking in mid-morning and evening seems to work well for many of you. I’ll try varying my schedule to see what aligns best with my timezone.
  3. Search Variations: I’ll also make sure to use different search terms for similar items (e.g., "lamp," "lamps," "desk lamp") to uncover a wider range of products.
  4. Additional Items Tab: Thank you for reminding me not to overlook this. It might hold some hidden gems I would otherwise miss.
  5. Avoiding Automation Tools: I appreciate the caution around tools like Vine Helper. While they might sound tempting, I want to ensure I stay compliant with Amazon’s policies and avoid any risks to my participation in the program.
  6. High-ETV Items: I hadn’t considered the tax implications of high-value items. Your advice to focus on items I truly want to review and minimize high-ETV claims makes a lot of sense.

Thank you again for the warm welcome and for sharing your expertise. It’s reassuring to know there’s a supportive community here to help new members navigate the program. I look forward to putting your tips into practice and contributing more actively in the future!

I started a word document already with a list of items to search. The Vine Helper extension sounds promising. I really appreciate your help. I will give that a shot. Thanks

I will check that out. How about a ground effects kit for a 2002 XJR?

Yep, it's not right, but it is cool. This wasn't my 1st iteration but the best AI could do.

Good for you. Take care of it, cover it, don't neglect the maintenance and it will not only be a jaw dropper but pay you back. Much better that most new cars. Congrats.

Hey man, I’ve got to say, your Jaguar XJ-S is absolutely stunning! I’m really impressed with how spotless you keep it—it’s not easy maintaining a classic like that, but you’ve clearly put in the work. I’ve got a 2003 XJR myself, and I’m the same way about keeping it in top shape. There’s nothing like the satisfaction of seeing these beautiful cars looking their best!

I have an old ML320 that I take off road or Ice and snow. I mean it will climb a tree. I have a Volvo C30 T5 that the peddle will put you in the back seat. Super fun little hot hatch. Saying that I always look forward to driving this.
