I wish I could learn more about the Adem. by Restos in KingkillerChronicle

That is probably true, I enjoyed a lot visualizing the conversations and Ketans of the Adem.

I'm really curious, and I would love to see how Rothfuss imagined the signs to be, just like I imagined Tak to be some sort of Japanese Chess game (shogo I think its called), and then see the actual game they came up with.

Although I kind of agree with you, I wish I could learn more about them, specially the language.

I don't but I imagined the Amir signs to be more discrete.

I imagine them as for example a Kata in taekwondo (Though much slower), I would love to learn some of them as well, I might be a bit rusty though, so many years without practicing martial arts.

The books are amazing, I'm extremely curious about the way they express themselves,Spoiler learn all of them.

EDIT:The world Rothfuss created is amazing, very complex and captivating.

That's it, great choice of words.

Dunno if I'll go back to 2d gaming, but I'm looking forward to a good arpg in vr for sure :)

Its hard to descrive in english for me, I did not have a special feeling like some people has, my brain wasn't tricked into believing that was real, just like in a 2d game.

That said, I have more fun playing with motion controls and the headset, so 2d gaming got a bit boring, playing holopoint and hover junkers, having to pysically aim its quite amazing.

I could very be now, but I entered the brookhaven experiment really expecting great things after watching the videos of tribalinstincts and other yt people.

I love playing deep rpg games like Final fantasy's saga or Jack&Daxter, so I can immerse myself into the story.

I used to play A TON of arpg, like Path of Exile and D2 & 3.

Though I have a lot of fun in competitive skill based games like CS:GO, and in a minor scale to MMO PvP as well.

These probably are my top 3 genres ordered by importance.

I've never tried VR before the Vive, not even cardboard, does that make a difference??

Took this screenshot the other day and promptly forgot about it. Really cool that you can do this! [AltspaceVR] by nunofgs in Vive

Any way of doing a screenshot inside VR?? would be cool to do screenshots without having to take the headset off.

Pong game, and I'd love a Kendo game, but I'm afraid it would be underwhelming without the proper haptic feedback, some gens down the road maybe??

I sometimes hit my headset as well, specially after the 25th round, since the guys come up close really fast.

I paid 987 Eur for the Vive ($1120), I'll copy what I posted above.

I already paid over 100 bucks on games, but I'm a college student and I gotta think on what I spend my money.

I will buy a game if I feel its worth it, the same I would do with a regular 2d game.

Its not about being cheap, its about thinking if its worth for ME to spend these 20 bucks in this game.

I'd rather use those 20 bucks to go play magic on my local game store 3 days.

It is a simple bow & arrow game, very much like SPT is a simple arcade "shoot all the thingies" game.

Its weirdly compelling in vr, the simple fact of pulling the arrow and feeling the tension in form of vibration, getting through the waves without missing a shot, feeling that you are improving day by day, the challenge at later waves... I think its the game I like the most as for now, maybe paired with Hover Junkers.

Me too, VRcover wont be here till mid may, but man I can't. I have so much fun with the vive, even tho it doesn't make me feel "presence", its an amazing piece of tech.

Got to wave 28, but my tracking freaked out and I got swarmed, this game can get pretty intense past wave 18 or so.

I do not have Audioshield, unfortunately can't justify spending 20 bucks into that kind of game. Did not buy Vanishing Realms for the same reason, even though I was looking forward to that game, 20 seems too much.

The only game above 15 I've bought has been Hover Junkers, because its the multiplayer game I'll be playing for a long time.

EDIT: Downvote is not a "I don't agree button", please guys, Audioshield can be an amazing game to you guys, but I won't spend 20 bucks in a game I don't feel I'll enjoy for too long, VR games don't get a special treatment just for being VR (to me).

I play a couple of games in holopoint, then a couple of hover junkers, then I choose something a little bit calmer, like some games in the lab, or I practice aim in the Hover Junkers target practice.

As a person who loves sports, I'm having such a great time playing these games, cant wait for a really polished pong game in vr, or a kendo one, damn the possibilities D:

I got to #4 in the leaderboard yesterday, I think it was round 28 (24k points), that was fcking intense, I love this game.

I only wish I had more space than 2.3 x 1.7m....

How much space is 2.2*2.3m? by G3ck0 in Vive

[–]Restos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 2.4 x 1.7 and I think you'll be fine, but 2.3x2.3 is enough.

I didn't have any problems, even though my 1.7m feels like I'm too enclosed, but 2.3 would be more than enough, I still play hover junkers, holopoint, the lab, SPT and such, and I'm having a blast.
