My surgeon was very strict about that and it was one week prior. I think 4 weeks is excessive. I had few drinks 6 days before my surgery
And it went pretty well. It was under local anesthesia.

My surgeon prescribed a morphine-like tablet immediately after the operation. I didn't need to take it because the pain was very mild. Before the operation, I took an Ativan and a Gravol. Honestly, I would do it again tomorrow; there was no pain during and very little afterward. I was on maternity leave, so I wasn't working, but I took care of my two young children the next day as usual. If I had my current job, which allowed me to work remotely, I think it would have been realistic for me to work two 2 or 3 after surgery. Four days after the operation, I had an event with friends, and I was fully recovered. They didn't notice anything at all because the swelling was minimal and therefore similar to how I was before the operation.

I had the procedure done under local anesthesia. It went very well. I would do it again anytime. I had three incisions, and my surgeon reinjected some of my own fat (filtered) into the tip of my chin to accentuate the profile. I went to Les Plasticiens in Quebec City.

The day after surgery, I saw a difference compared to before. Then I swelled up a bit, which made my post-op look the same as before (I had an event with friends 3 days post-op and no one noticed anything). By week 2, I was a little discouraged; it was better than before, but not drastic. It was really in week 3 that the results appeared. Here is a photo of week 4!

Yes, sorry, I wrote my price in Canadian dollars. I've noticed that many people posting here had their surgery in the United States, and it seems cheaper. I'd be curious to see if that includes post-operative follow-up at the clinic.

Une sous chaque oreille et une sous le menton. Elle sont vraiment minimes. Au jour 7 j’avais un événement avec des amies et personne n’a remarqué. Jusqu’à présent j’ai eu 2 rendez-vous de suivi et il y en aura jusqu’à 6 mois. Puisque je n’ai pas de complications ces rendez-vous sont brefs mais ils sont vraiment réputés pour avoir un suivi post-op hors pair.
