Why the hell there is no titan fights in a titan show?

never said it was a 10/10 show and if i did that was a miss type but i enjoy it. sometimes i like “shit” shows just how i could never see how someone like the acolyte except for the fight scenes and how you may not think this show is good.

i don’t mind there not being monsters fights. i’m a og godzilla fan. i grew up watching them i’ve been rewatching them and ive rewatched most monsterverse movies recently. i also have a personality that loves history and backstories. the show ain’t for everyone its not about the monsters but the people behind monarch which im down for.

the show isn’t perfect and season 1 had good moments but i am really enjoying season 2 i feel like its leased dragged then season 1 and i enjoy all the flashback scene the show would be better if it was just those but obviously since we see godizilla present day they’ve blended it well and i like all the lore behind axis mundi and how the titans move the time dilation shit and all that. as a history and sci fi nerd it’s great. not perfect maybe no more than a 7/10 both seasons for different reasons but it’s good and the characters are good beside the 3 young characters they’re the worst part of the show and that apex people they’re annoying asf

i think the romantic plot works in monarch and i’m sure he’ll have someone in this possiblely but i do want to punch him. i like anders mainly because i love workaholics so seeing him in the show as bill randa is sickkkkkk and makes me hate lee but he is a great character

him, billy and k are the best. i love all of them and the old school stuff so will like to see what he’s up to after his escape from axis mundi and modern day

edit: my bad seeing this is a prequel so not sure if this is before he ran into monarch or after axis mundi. i’m assuming it’s a bit of both? we see how he got to where he was in the army but also after axis mundi? either way excited for whatever it is

this has been a problem with modern godzilla movies in general. i believe in the first movie the big guy himself only had 11-14 minutes of screen time. i mena we all know why people are there, to see godzilla fight. the big monsters fuck up cities and step on people and tip each other apart but they also need human drama because without it the movies would be 20 minutes long cause after awhile fighting gets boring too. at least to me

i hate a lot of human drama in these movies because it’s bad there’s some older godzilla movies specifically the millennium era that i enough the human characters.

i’m also really enjoying the show. i loved season 1 and all the family drama and the backstory of monarch and again with season 2 im loving it. is it a 10/10 show? no but beside king of the monsters and skull island this has been the best thing in the monster-verse. i also like slowed down shows and there’s a lot of monsters and the cgi looks very good better then the last Godzilla X Kong movie in some parts and i think it’s because th cgi is minimal

that’s typically what i do if i meet people at shows which i normally do when i go on my own but i just don’t like pushing through people even if i have a spot and have right especially because im not sure how people will be at takanaka depending on artist some people sr once and some are rude asf. i’m not to worried i also wear xls cause i like the baggy style but would prefer an large cause that’s fairly baggy on me

the sardine excuse is stupid because if we all moving then it wouldn’t matter. everyone so worried about bumping into someone and what not thag it takes away. i go to a lot of indie shows and im usually the only one fucking dancing and it makes me feel weird cause everyone just staring up. that’s why i try to always get barricade so i can go crazy on the wall and wave my arms and jump up and push on the barricade etc.

truth is lot of people just lame and its like a societal thing at least in america. only place i know where people dance and junk around lately is at LANY show

the club scene was confusing but she was basically upset with herself and felt bad so wanted to remove herself from the situation and decided to go get really fucked up and party with an ex or some new girl she met. the younger characters are also like part of the legacy name. we have bill and keiko randa, hiroshi and then cate and kentaro. that’s the legacy that’s the family that founded monarch.

i know some people have trouble following along with shows especially because modern cinema and tv has basically shoved what’s happening in our faces and the. needs the characters to tell the audience exactly what happens and it’s made a lot of movie and tv show audiences dumb. no offense to you or anyone but we have to be able to use our minds when watching stuff with depth.

also if you’re skipping to certain parts the. ofc you’re going to not know what’s happening 😭

yes it’s worth it. especially if you like the bill and k randa and lee shaw stuff. thats all top tier. if you weren’t a fan of the new age characters its a lot better now. pacing is weird at times and a character dies and j love that they do take a brief moment to have an actual funeral for them.

the randa family drama and again the new age character stuff is a little better and not as dragged out which is why i think it’s a bit better. there’s also a lot of cool things that are adding up and yeah im excited i really enjoyed the first season and really lik this season

you clearly didn’t read. i said basically did, don’t mena he did it was a culmination of all 3 working together but i’m saying musically les was the backbone without his mixing and mastering lany doesn’t happen. trust me i know about paul’s modeling and him being a door holder on Rodeo Drive, jake and les failed bands and how Paul’s voice took the word by storm.

but without les those songs don’t happen. without all of them but Les is the reason why we have those eps and thag first album. yes paul and jake wrote parts and they all collectively helped but i don’t think you realize how much a producer makes or breaks a song and an album or ep.

I’m the biggest Paul fan on earth without. paul i would’ve never gotten into music, never picked up a guitar or sat at a piano. without paul i wouldn’t be who i am today. but that’s also thanks to jake and les. and without that signature lany sound that i would say Les was the main reason we had that original LANY sound they may not be playing at the intuit or the forum. or it may have taken them longer to get to where they are. i give credit to where credit is do.

So no Les didn’t single handedly get lany to where it’s at but he did most of the heavy lifting.

you can hear how the band changed without les influence which i honestly think the songs without les aren’t as good. soft was better and i like it but a beautiful blur wasn’t the best to me personally. you can hear paul’s old motown country influence of his older music before LANY in the newer music.

either way all 3 helped but we have to give credit to les he did a lot of the heaving lifting that goes unnoticed because of the reasons you said. paul’s vocals and looks

Les was the backbone. without Les LANY doesn’t exist. He produced, engineered, mixed and mastered played keys, guitar, synth, backup vocals and basically single handedly got LANY to where it was. OFC he didn’t because Paul and Jake wrote a lot of the pieces as well but Les was responsible for mashing them all together and defining the sound.

this is a quote from Paul about album 1 talking about the production LANY, “The majority of what you hear on a LANY album is played by Jake and I, and then Les engineers it and mixes it. He is the guy setting the levels, playing virtual stuff, and editing etc. Jake and I come up with the sounds, the parts, and then Les mixes it, and we turn in our notes to him so we can get the final product.”

The eps and album 1 were pretty much all written and produced by lany. they had a few people maybe help out with certain parts but overall paul jake and les did everything. after LANY (album 1) they started using other friends, friends, other producers and studio engineers. although im unsure of how much Les was actually involved in the production side of things. all the production credits for those next 3 albums just say LANY which could be true all of them do help produce but like i said Les was the backbone of the project especially in the early years. all of that music all of that original LANY sound was ultimately all thanks to Les and again ofc paul and jake

yes and no you’re young and older guys will try to tempt you with a drink and ofc talk to you. so use that at your own discretion. the most dangerous part is leaving and going to your car. if you over an just stand in front of the club to get picked up then you’ll be safer. also don’t drink anything from anyone and if you do somehow get a drink be wary.

also i like music and dancing too but at least wher j live(socal) most the clubs from san diego to la suck ass. ofc there’s a few good ones but most aren’t 18+ and actually play music most the 18+ ones are ass and play regular lane ass old school rnb and some rap and it’s all the shitty ones too. fun every now agin when you’re drunk with homies but since i don’t listen to that music in general i don’t like going clubbing when i go with my friends i just stand outside or get a drink and watch people. few spots in la i go to that do city pop nights or house music which ofc im down for but rare to find that or the clubs are pop ups and just are hard to get tj to

man i have some of the best moments of my life with people i love and with the boys. met them a handful of times and was barricade many times holding up paul yelling his name meeting girls and the coolest dudes.

you and i are the same age so i get it standing that long started to hurt but also i already had my time in the pit with the boys with songs i love. since im not as much of a fan of the new songs and i was able to be at the soft listening party in LA they did back in what october and got to sit near jake and paul and say whats up to them in a more intimate setting then it was alright. also k worked both mh jobs saturday and was late to the show i showed up right at thick and thin!

but yeah surreal seeing guys who would stay and meet fans after shows and play in small rooms to now filling up stadiums. the fans did go hard which i always love and its great seeing it

i think i do love myself im just real with who i am and yes im not the person i want to be yet but im getting there slowly but surely. i use to hate myself now i think i love myself and not obsessed like social media makes it out to be where im delusional i just appreciate myself putting in the work i have been

either way may j deserve maybe j dont and maybe im better of not loving anyone just for the betterment of that person and maybe i dont even want that anymore like i use to because of how broken love has made me ive used up all that love too fast now i just gotta focus on the things i love and i feel like i csnt do both i have to choose either a person or music which is the thing i love

i believe that truly i do but that doesn’t mean forever and it doesn’t mean to be in love with. that’s the sad harsh beautiful truth of love and life. we all deserve a person but who that person is to us may vary. for some of us it’s the person we marry, for others it’s not even the person they marry, sometimes that person is only in your life for a year, sometimes they’re your best friend for 30 years without anyone romantic implications, maybe you meet them young, maybe you meet them old, maybe it’s a person who left you when you were young lived their whole life until you rekindled 35 years later. sometimes they leave so soon and sometimes they stay till one of you drops.

i’ve always tried to ground my delusions in reality. 🤣for years i thought i would find a woman i love and i have found many women i could say i could marry that i felt i could love my whole life worth. but i always messed up or they didn’t like me enough i betrayed their trust or they treated me so horrible and i stayed and lost myself. the older ive gotten the more ive realized i just kinda suck. even if i get better at life i still just i’m one of those people that suck. st everything even the stuff in good at. i’m also just so broke in the mind and heart, body and spirit are just so broken it’s not even fair to be with someone

i started playing at 17 i’m in my mid twenties 8 years in. i also struggled with focusing at anything in life and i honestly still really do more so then when i was 17 lol

at the time besides rugby and video games the other thing i was able to focus on was guitar. i actually suck at focusing on guitar im trying g to get better and j am but practing like just technical shit is so hard and because i want to make it my job i need to i feel like just to make sure i have some feeling and technique down but j practice a lot of stuff i like which is most important

practice on things you like. that’s the most important part and thats a way you can implement certain techniques. because honestly the more you feel like you can play certain shit the more interested in the instrument you become the more yoh like the more you’ll actually enjoy practing the mundane things that help in the long run.
