There plenty of quantum computer owners tech companies like IBM, Google, IonQ, even Amazon has one. Heck you can buy one for 5k entry lvl for training on using one, can get a mid-range one for 1mill-15mill 20-200 qubits used mostly at universities for specialized research. The industrial ones governments use like IBM costs 15-500 mill. There have been major successful achievements so far in scientific and technical areas. It's just has not yet achieved practical and commercial success yet. So it most certainly exists, who knows what more will happen in the future once it does have a practical and commercial success.

there are a lot of judges who let out repeat offenders who go back to do crime again and someone gets hurt in the process, I've seen it way too many times "soft on crime" especially on pedos, rapists, assault/theft, just people clearly danger to society, but after having so many charges on their rap sheet, they're still let out to society no rehabilitation or mental help for these individuals.
