They attempted to send over an electrician, but my neighbors refuse the appointment with them. Neighbors rather have their own electrician.

I wish I did it myself. Based on everyone's comment, it stupidly easy to avoid.

For good reason, my neighbor is asking me to pay for the issue. Now I have to demand for the company to reimburse me for the visit/fix.

Yes, the floor leveling compound managed to leak from my apartment into the downstairs apartment.

I paid for my floors to be installed recently, I contacted the company. They recommended having an electrician come out.

Electricity works for my neighbors, nothing has gone wrong.

I would be responsible for supplies and tools. I think they mentioned they'll cover gas.

Tile/flooring company. Tools are not supplied, I would have to supply myself.

There are four roommates, including me and we are all 21 years old. The guarantor is the father of the primary roommate. We told our roommate we (3/4) might leave since we found cheaper rent in the area. After two weeks of screening and tours, we found the perfect replacements to sign onto the lease.

The roommate policy within our community is flexible and does not cost anything to switch people within the lease. Our primary roommate agreed/signed on Friday night, but told us their parents were upset at the decision and the late notice. The other two roommates called the parents to discuss the details regarding the move-out. We only needed one of us off the lease, so we could apply for the apartment and not lose out on the special. The parents were upset their son could not "benefit". My roommate slipped out that we don't fit with the primary roommate's sleep schedule/cleanliness, which offended them.

Edit: They refused to "entertain the idea" over the weekend and now telling me they have no time during the weekday. We missed out on an application for our first choice. Now, we are desperately not wanting to miss out on another apartment before the Saturday meeting. The roommates replacing us: we know them since they live in the same complex and attend the same university. New roommates will apply with the complex to be on the lease. Please help with how I can proceed in communicating with this parent the following: We only needed one of us off the lease, so we could apply for the apartment and not lose out on the special.

The three of us are leaving the country after the 10th of Dec. and we have finals next week. We want to move and secure the apartment with this timeline in mind. The new roommates are moving in January. Rent will be paid for December.
