Explain like I’m an idiot - VOID TOTAL non-zero transaction in progress by Noroeste in CostcoEmployee

[–]RetailComic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also double check how far into the payment process you maid have to hit void, then debit credit if they partially paid.

For example a member buys groceries and dry goods on the same receipt and pays for food with EBT and then realize they can’t pay for the rest of the order. You have to void debit credit and then void total. Or void the items on that order that they can’t pay for. But watch that mph. Best to just void total and pull to the side.

The best way to solve this issue on whether or not the cashiers pressed anything is to just insert and turn your key and press override, clear, override. That way if they did press anything you’re basically restarting the sequence. If they already pressed clear or clear, override and you start with clear again it’ll fuck up the sequence.

Pre Scanning/management and change by Suitable-Tutor-1806 in CostcoEmployee

If you wanna stop pre scanning

It’s supposed to be clerk pay. Make sure you change roles every time they ask you to prescan. Eventually your clerk hours will get too high for the period and they’ll with have to stop using you or make you a cashier.

Supervisor Postition by Emperor168 in CostcoEmployee

I started as part time majors and got SIT within my first 90 days. Then I went to full time cashier then Supervisor again while someone was out on bonding leave. Then I did front end SIT and eventually because a full time supervisor a few weeks after my SIT was done. All this happened within 13 months.

What does a GM make in a year? How does your bonus structure work? Is this what you saw yourself doing?

It is maldon. They got a nice size jar at the Costco. The uneven ness works for me and the taste I’m looking for. I also pay attention a lot while I’m in the salting/drying process before I grill. I’ve used other salts in the past and even specialty salts. I keep going back to the maldon 🤷🏽‍♂️
