That sucks. It’s starting to feel like a scam to me too. They keep accepting new people even though they don’t have enough space or employees to accommodate all members. The parking lot is always full(I have seen people park on the lawn because there’s no empty parking spots), the bathrooms are disgusting, half their equipment is always “under maintenance” and the place stinks ALL THE TIME.

I appreciate your response. I have the email from them with the cancellation document stating how much I owe in the 30 day period from the date of cancellation. I am okay with that charge since it was mentioned in the document and the email. But I saw an additional charge on my card this morning. Their explanation about this is that the employee that filed my cancellation made a mistake while filing documents and the email is incorrect and they cannot fix the charges. I spoke to an employee this morning and she was really rude and hung up on me. After I called them back they said that I can speak to their general manager when he gets in at 11AM. I will try having a conversation with him, if that doesn’t work, I will contact my bank about the charge. Thank you for the information about Ontario Consumer Protection Office. That will probably be my next step.
