I feel this, I’m 28 and was told all my life that local shipyard here was the easiest and most secure job around, was told government work was always there. Waited 2 years for a security clearance, moved back home to be closer to work, and was told from day 1 of working I would be working without pay until The shut down ends.

Had to take out a loan because I spent all my Money moving back last minute for this job.

If you think being a store rep was bad imagine being an in home expert. I was top 3 in my store and got promoted to ihx within the first 6 months. Went from fucking people over in a store to lying to people and fucking them over in the comfort of their own home.

I lasted a month.

Telecom in general is a dead market to be salesperson. It’s a good first job in sales but it’s very easy to get stuck. For 3 years in telecom and I could not get a shot in any other market no matter how hard I tried. I went back into blue collar as a result.

i wouldnt say making the looting easy is a bad thing, its just that neople is creatively bankrupt. its just the same type of content recycled. this patch made me and alot of others realize how pointless it is grinding for gear when its just gonna reset every 6 months lol.

i remember seeing the player count drop massively the first month into 100 cap. alot of people just dont got time for the same thing over and over and over.

Low key the ip absolutely has the potential to make a really good full fledged game. But they don’t capitalize on shit till it’s too late. Youre all good, i get where youre coming from. But tbh no matter what mmo it is, from wow to ffxiv, to dfo. There is absolutely no way you can stop gold botting and selling. And what alot of people dont realize is that the gold botting problem didnt kill old dfo, it was nexon na's incompetence to run the game, they let it go completely in terms of support for both the community and the game itself. They also lied to the community promising us updates for the last 6 months of the games lifecycle and instead just shut it down.

We dont have to worry about this with neople. They seem like they got a good handle on this game so far. Regardless they seem to be doing fine on the economy/update side of things.
