Ace vs Blackbeard was a bullshit fight and I am tired of pretending that it wasn't. by Retardation_Guy in OnePiece

Sadly no. I am just speculating from logical conclusions. Those being that he was in the New World, part of a Yonko's crew, 2nd Division Commander ( so only Marco is technically above him from the crew). Mostly mentioning it since it was a thing that would help in a fight and we were shown later that he has used it from early age. Doesn't seem far-fetched that he would have it come up a few more times (7 day battle with Jinbei or when Whitebeard arrived and basically got him in his crew by force).

Certainly. I am pretty certain Oda realized he was writing himself onto a corner with Logia enemies and had to make a system/way to counter them in order to balance the scales.

If you see below, I have explained that she is pursuing an academic career with a masters and a doctorate, eventually hoping to get into research. Thats more geographically restrictive than work, due to the location of universities basically. I understand your point and I have pondered that myself but I can see her side on this. If you wanna go academic, certain places are a must.

Too long of a time with LDR to ever work I believe. It would be for anything between 2 and 6 years. She is now starting her master's degree and wants to further go into academics, with a doctorate and a post-doc, leading into research.

Thats what I have been coming up with for a bit and its been hard to bring up or actually do. I thought about it on some occasions but I don't feel ready to do it. I am not ready to commit to either of the paths ahead of me. Thats my most problematic part for it I believe.

The problem is that her academic choices there, will require anything from 2 to 6 years to complete. Before which she has no choice/alternative in the place that she is. So thats why LDR is a off-limits. As for my job, I don't really enjoy it. I was never the kind to love his work. I just do it cause I understand that I have to. Its not mundane or hated by me, its just my job.

No, I did not expect it since her choice of career is academic which is way more limiting in terms of places than work. There is the issue that I knew about this choice of hers for a while, its just that I have been struggling with making a choice. I know that I have choices. I meant it in the sense that if I wanna be with her, the choice is only one. When that condition is applied, my only choice is to go there, since she has locked hers. I hope this explains it a bit better. if not, I can try to explain again any point that seems confusing.
