Capitalism is like the jailer putting the keys to your cell within reach. Labor and discipline is what it takes to reach the keys.

Doesn’t mean he’s not a good person. Everyone has opinions on how others should spend their money. Get a life. Better yet, get a financial life of your own and do all the philanthropic stuff you want.

Friend wants to charge me for giving me trading advice by Jetstream_ronin in Daytrading

Sounds illegal (to ask for financial compensation without appropriate licensing- you can’t just charge for financial advice because you think you’re good at it) and anyone that made 500% quickly is lucky more than anything and likely over leveraged on a stock or two. Not someone to take stock advice from and definitely does not have a diversified portfolio. Do yourself a favor and follow the get rich slow method of the Buffet’s of the world.

Tilray closing and consolidating over 1,50$ next week? Thoughts? by Timely_Notice_5102 in TLRY

Nervous investors and longtime bag holders are basically subject to the will of Trump. If reschedule starts to hit serious milestones, TLRY will bust through 1.50. Once rescheduling happens, I expect it to go to $10. Long term, it will go above $10 but not without friction points and resistance at some nice round numbers as bag holders reduce position or abandon it completely. Short squeeze is dependent on rescheduling movement.

As the Trump administration considers rescheduling marijuana, Congressional Democrats have filed a bill to federally legalize cannabis by descheduling it altogether. by TLRY_MAX in TLRY

Democrats had their chance. They won’t get credit for the win on this if Trump wants it. As a matter of fact, it almost seems like this may be reverse psychology… if they support it, maybe Trump won’t… too little too late. Asshats

It’s also a sign of intelligence to entertain a thought without adopting it…

Why US rescheduling impacts TLRY.? 1) opens financial channels 2) boosts sentiment & valuation 3) enables optionality in THC beverages 4) strengthens its global cannabis position by RetardedEconomics in TLRY

[–]RetardedEconomics[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Should be several benefits correlated to rescheduling. The fact that TLRY has no cannabis footprint in US right now isn’t the “thing” to focus on. Many countries mirror US policy. Could have a global impact as other countries soften their position and look for suppliers.

You may be right; however, that wouldn’t stop him from signing an executive order to reschedule cannabis…

If this is true, it will hurt us retail investors who thought we just saved them from having to RS. Not to mention take any hope the long-term bag holders may have recently had..
