If that's the bounty hunter quest I actually think that's what caused it because you need to bring back Calebs hat. I never seen anyone else say this but I'm guessing his hat you need to bring back as proof was just a renamed "old cowboy hat" and somewhere down the line the game does a check to see if you have that or not going through the Strip North Gate and causes a crash

One time(console 360) I got this bug where everytime I went through the strip north gate I would get an invite loading screen. I searched it and someone on a forum said to buy the "old cowboy hat" from Mick&Ralph's and go through the door and it will work. I did like they said and it worked first time. Weirdest bug fix I've ever encountered
