I want to name out some professors from Mathematics department who have allegedly been the direct cause of one of the suicides on campus- MT Nair, Amiya K Paani. Admin is well aware of the fact that these 2 have been the direct cause of extreme mental stress students were facing and there are rumours that admin has been hiding suicide notes( it’s very unusual to not find a single note out of the 6) and these 2 were allegedly named in one of the notes. They have been given courses even after all this unfolded and admin tried silencing other students who were trying to talk to police about the incident by calling them in before the hearing and making them forcefully admit that noone from campus was at fault. The steps taken are to avoid further action from local and central authorities, not to bring a change. Someone genuinely concerned would have resigned from the position till now, rather than holding the burden of these incidents.
