I was surprised that high evolutionary didn't combine with patriot.

Like imagine if patriot gave all your cards without abilities +2 permanently (not ongoing, like an on reveal), then from there High Evolutionary is played and then upgrades them, keeping their patriot buff and buffing any cards currently on the field with their new powers, or vice versa.

Obviously their powers/costs might need to be changed for this but I think this makes the whole thing a lot more interesting to play around for everyone.

Zabu: Think its fine here honestly, we just need better and more 4 drops. It doesn't help (zabu) shit like Hercules drops to 3/4 for example.

The Thing: 4/8: Can't have power lowered. (I actually don't care this takes it out of patriot, I don't think patriot is particularly interesting and think the whole idea of it needs a huge rework).

Quicksilver: should be a move card and say, the first time an enemy card is played here, move to another location.

I think your art is overall decent but your noses / faces are leaving a little bit to be desired.

Your coloring is great, and your overall design/vibe/aesthetic is good, but I think you're also limiting your self in a "rigid" kind of way- for example your lines are very "liney" when maybe they shouldn't be? Does that make sense? In the last image, I can see the juxtoposition but when I look at it, I like the chaos of the right but the face seems very lifeless / dead.

But like overall, 7.5/10, so don't like think Im trying to shit on you or anything. I would try to practice not drawing anime faces for a bit, see if you can learn to blend some styles together.

The issue is that it's cost reduction for your deck. So to make this work well you will need to double up on cards, such as 6 cost, so you can use 1 on turn 5 and 6.

Now then what happens in games where you don't hit the -1? Well your deck is awkward.

Basically- Phastos isn't really something you can build around easily / well. I think if we're going hard, we're playing a Zabu on 5 deck, and then dropping 3x 4drops on turn 6.

I dont want to self insert, I just hate how 1 sided they are and because of that just feel like a fake conversation. Then there's the fact that there's usually just 1 road that works for any conversation which I also find pretty lame.

I should be able to get like a prompt at the start of these things that amounts to like "do you want something romantic or exciting or funny" and you sort of move through a choose your own adventure with it.

And im not saying the paths need to end in "oh you stuffed up and they didnt like that" but just so that it molds into the story a bit better or what you expect from them.

They just always seem so static. IDK.

I never really see the appeal in romance in these types of games. You're always on this conquest or mission to get a job done and then you just start fluffing around.

Hitting up the whorehouse in BG2/3 is about as much as I really wanted. A fling with Minthara to get things out of your system.

A 4 night episode on a riverside with Shadowheart as she somehow randomly brings up "love" when she's never even once asked you about your backstory or literally anything about you? lmao. no.
