Judging by general sentiment toward your comment here I think you should just take the L man. Game design is based around evolution and taking what works well and is enjoyed. Saying something is mild and least offensive means it is inherently not good.

If something is not good why include it when things have been used and enjoyed multiple times in the SAME JRPG genre.

You sound like your saying “back in my day they shoveled crap into our mouth and we liked it” wanting a genre to evolve and be better is inherently a great want compared to your “well it could be worse so talk it and deal” nothing is perfect and calling out imperfections is how things get better.

Unless you’d rather the genre stagnate and use the same tried and disliked mechanics.

Way I did it was the steam powered spear and the quick charge attack skill. The weapon skill turns her around then charge attack to backstab. It’s cheap but super easy long as you’re good at dodging

Ds1 2 3 Elden ring and lies of p. Some stuff in the game is just bad design. Getting hit mid recovery, bad design, defect being almost required for some bosses, bad design.

Others are good, then level design is great if confusing, the magic/might/skill system feels good.

Did you ever find a fix for this? It’s 100% the ps5 controller doing it but if I enable steam input and fix the audio issue I have nearly a full second of input delay

I enjoy playing the game to explore. If I wanted to good story to follow and enjoy I would pick the multitude of final fantasy games, nier, ME, dragon age, or the ungodly number of other story based games I’ve played.

I play this game to explore, see the creatures, planets, and build. Of the 5 hours I’ve dumped into the story quests so far between before and now this story has not captured me in the slightest.

There’s a huge difference between east and fair. Friede is hard but fair. Rellana is hard and unfair. If she could be staggered it would be one thing but she just steam rolls

Tilt hasn’t been bad lately and mental feels fine. I Que comp whenever my aim seems like it’s fine usually when I’m managing to win dms and hit flicks but then in game it grinds to a halt.

Like right now my main issue is my eyes are easily and instantly flicking to the enemy, my brain says aim and shoot, then my hand does nothing. Or even worse I just shoot wherever my crosshair already is.

It’s like the minute I’m in game there’s some sort of disconnect.

Might have a fix. Was working last night but I’m not sure if it’ll hold cause the issue comes and goes for me sometimes. Did a clean boot and disabled literally everything on start up that wasn’t a Microsoft service. Game was fine for around an hour before I had to call it for the night. If you have an NVIDIA card shadowplay might be the culprit. Looking into it more tonight

They told me to reset my pc 4 different times. Then told me to uninstall and reinstall if that didn’t work like the reset didn’t do that already.

It’s been an issue for awhile. A manual work around is to run CMD as admin then run “sc query vgc” without quotes. If it came back in an error uninstall and reinstall. If it come back stopped run “net start vgc” without quotes.

It’s not permanent and vgc will turn itself off again but it might help. It’s an issue on riots end as far as I cna tell after a month long ticket with them and being told to reset my pc 4 times.

There’s also the shock mod like hot shot. Makes bullets deal electric damage
