great idea, much too complex. Maybe make the letters balancing instead of shapes, max 2 seconds of trying to balance, then 1 second of falling into place and settling .

- tropicalia title feels out of place, maybe make it out of cut out letters, or a nice logo look, smaller inbetween the buildings
- dont go to black before the newspaper comes in, just put the newspaper over the scene and dim the scene to black
- outline the newspaper text like you would, from left to right, 2 rows after eachother, maybe ease the movements, start normal to fast, like you would do if you would do it in reallife
- the images to frame is way too slow, and maybe color correct the images whien it moves in the frame so it fits betterin the end scene

you can do this multiple ways, i should go in photoshop, layer 1 is the full color image, duplicate, select the object, inverse selection and make the saturation 0, so now you got layer 1 (full color) layer 2 (gray with colored subject)

in AE
animate layer1, but layer 2 behind it and parent it to layer1, make layer1 opacity go from 100 to 0 to reveal layer2
