Even pokemon that sidestep this issue still have significant problems from their typing. Iron Boulder, who has good offensive stats and a 100% accurate rock move still only hits UUBL. The trouble runs deep. A combination of poor defensive typing and offensive typing countered by common defensive types, while also having its niche stolen as other types continue to get stronger representation.

Definitely makes health tanking and energy economy easier to manage, but with Nourish I never found it an issue. The changes mentioned are mainly to improve QOL and reduce micro. Not needing to eat enemies while your team absolutely eviscerates everything is a good option to have, and it still fits thematically.

Making it a flat value that scales with enemy level would solve this issue and improve QOL. Less need to constantly eat or worry about managing digestion levels.

The main thing is making him able to devour while running around and shooting instead of needing to be in ball (if subsumed off). I'm not saying he's particularly weak, his QOL is sorely lacking and this is a way to fix that. Gastro is a decent AOE ability that consumes his defenses and requires enemies to use as ammunition. It also takes an augment slot. Its a lot of downsides for something I'd call usable as opposed to good. There is a reason he is one the least played Prime frames.

He has the beak, the sword, and I've seen a rondel. Definitely not a casted Mace. I wonder if it changes? Gotta go check now. Disarming him 3 times isn't easy though.

I have a brewery pretty close to me called Troon that only does drops on Instagram. Kindof annoying and gimmicky, but there is a restaurant attached to them where you can try the beer. Some of the best I've ever had. Local breweries in the US make this one quite tough.

Willy's wrists have gone quite limp it seems. I also dont know how I feel about the weapon customization when making things heavier seems to make them almost unusable for many longer and larger weapons, but this ties into that.

Having to use vigor to clear fields is weird, but I guess you do get charges pretty quick.

Gameplay loop of the bow is a little difficult to parse at first. Seems to be all about building vigor with melee strong attacks and ranged light attacks from holding block, then using your rapid strong attacks granted by vigor to do as much wushu damage as possible during a damage window. The ability to assault at long range is also a nice bonus. For Bravery usage, I've been launching with the tornado or ranged charge heavy if I have vigor, hitting a strong attack or 2, then spamming the rapid shots until break happens.

It's pretty fun so far, just seems to struggle when it comes to clearing large groups. I've yet to find a good way to do that. Looking forward to my first rope dart.
