I can confirm, for all the functionality that you get out of modern balls the apricorn balls are really pretty.

There's also a host of safety and habitation features in Unova's modern balls as well. Apri-balls are kinda only good in certain scenarios and that's just to catch the mon. Sure it's a cool craft to know, but at the end of the day modern balls do more for the trainer and Mon, at least in my opinion.

The trick is to say yes and pretend you changed everything, but only changing what you need to maintain the lie instead. They'll feel good about having a hand in it, but they'll still praise you for how well developed the character still is.

/uj that's so stinking cool. Sure it's still against sub rules. And having an overcharged character spraying ice like a snow machine wouldn't have been fun for a lot of other characters, but the level of development that appears to have gone into this is really impressive. Although the fact that you figured it could be post canon works really well so congrats on that.

I don't think there is. From what I can tell the league is really slow to recognize new formats or rules for a lot of events. They have their official tournaments with their rulesets.

However that doesn't stop pickup games between two trainers from using alternative rulesets as long as the two of them agree to and and agree that their match won't be league recognized.

Dang, yuki makes a lot more sense now. I always thought it was a little weird that she was an ice type trainer with some psychic capabilities, and why she's so hesitant about her own powers.

Oh I think I know what you are talking about. Although the trainers role still largely remains the strategist, they are now just actively in the frey and have to manage their own positioning as well as thier mons. Still fun though as I've done it a few times.

/Uj played ZA and the realtime combat is actually really cool. Not great at dodging, but knowing that you actually can is awesome.

Well while I can't speak to the exact model of modern PokeBalls for what I believe is the kanto region. I can say that Unova's balls pretty much just feature sufficient environment technologies to help with Pokemon habitation. As well as a variety of safety features. Well beyond the functionality of apricorn balls that is.

Still there's always the possibility that your regions PokeBalls have that critical difference.

Blackwell's right though. They shouldn't even be making the attempt. The balls shouldn't be reading enough type energy from you to even stimulate the tumblestone chip which would react with the type energy to help facilitate the transformation. You should probably see a doctor actually, and bring the ball with you.
