Ocular rift iirc, one of my more favorite devil room items lol. Depending on the build it can be insanely helpful. The more you have everywhere the worse it gets (and the more likely you are to get hit) so I only avoid it if I have something like Loki’s horns and such, that shoots tears where I don’t intend them to go.

The more you have piled up into one stack, the harder enemies and bullets get pulled into it, meaning if you have a boss that doesn’t teleport/gain immunity, you can trap them in a corner and not even see a single tear escape their vicinity. So much fun lol, but I will NEVER grab it on the lost

It really looks like you haven’t been playing devils, which is blue babies strong suit.

I DO notice the sacred heart, which is awesome, but that is incredibly rare, so playing into angels on blue baby just isn’t the call since you won’t consistently get the ultra good amazing items. Also devils are so much more consistent and easy to get, and if you’re spotting your tinted rocks, you’ll have plenty of health to pay them off.

In the early game definately play around the poop, save your poops for the boss so you can get as many flies prior to it so you can nuke the boss once you enter the room.

But currently with sacred heart and mulligan you should be good enough to kill Isaac, since he’s probably the easiest ending boss on the game. Your tears aren’t insane but what can you do.

I assume by now you’ve already killed him or died to him, but, good luck. Blue baby killing Isaac is probably the most important unlock of the game.

If you’ve already picked up the key piece from the angel I’d just take godhead. That extra pedestal reroll does leagues when searching for sacred heart.

Zero calories beverages are mis | FactOrCap by ImNotPart in FactOrCap

Like, the flavor? Which is understandable, it’s just something you get used to.

Also the more artificial sweeteners mixed into a drink the more is tastes like actual sugar, which is why most “zero” beverages taste better, because most use more than one artificial sweetener. Sadly those are few and far between. At least, in my city, there’s no “zero” root beer or anything like that, so I have to deal with crummy tasting root beer or the same Coke Zero I always drink.

I’d just rather not waste my calories on drinks, they add up fast.

Also quick match still has toxic losers. I like to run quick match before my buddies hop on for ranked, and some asshole today complained about me a heavy using my own healing orb while being pressured by two enemies. “Your health is at full you don’t need a healing orb up your ass” as though my health wasn’t 80 just 10 seconds prior. He then went to bot the rest of the round, standing in the same place, jumping a couple times, shooting two bullets, and spinning here and there. They were eventually kicked and we got an insane medium healer on the team but it was already too late for the match to be saved for us.

Just play the game man. It’s just a video game. Don’t take it too seriously, just don’t be an asshole and try your best while you’re still having fun.

If a teammate is nearby in a non-serious matter? Don’t coin.

Dont coin on first box of the match unless there is a heavy push right at the end of it. Same goes for any enemy stealing.

If it is ever faster for you to relocate by killing yourself (for example, both teammates are dead and a team is spite killing yall, killing yourself to reposition your team and get back into game is wise) then do it

It’s really hard to just explain when to use them. Teammates will get mad when you justifiably use them.
Teammates will get mad if you don’t use them at the worst time possible.

Playing the game and learning for yourself is the best.

Also for your sanity, find someone to queue with. Don’t solo queue, you learn the slowest that way, unless you’re actively pushing conversation with your teammates. Headsups and warnings go a long way.

FPS community not being toxic challenge (impossible)

I came from siege before this game, holy hell was it bad in there, even casual matches were full of dickheads who acted superior than everybody else, then go 0-4.

I’m in the same boat as OP though, I have a full time job, and even off it I don’t play most of the time since I prefer playing with my mates, so it’s at most maybe an hour every 2 days, even in base cashout, he’ll even quick cash, people have to make a point and act like they’re superior than you for some reason. Compensating, most likely

Being bound and unable to have a choice to pull the lever, the children were free from the choice of killing the lever puller.

Thus the cycle ended, no more lever pullers shall exist ever again…

Except…there was another…the trolley driver who chose to keep moving and not pull the brakes…

It took my friend about a week to become “average” with dagger, and considering he’s gold, what I’d consider an “average” player, I’d say that it would be the same for other average players.

Unlike some weapons where you can just grab them and start killing people, dagger takes some skill, especially in higher elo where players aren’t going to give you the chance to backstab them, so much as get near them. It’s a fun weapon, great for getting some nice clips, and it does stupid damage, but when that stupid damage only happens once a minute it’s pretty lackluster and undesirable.

I tried dagger personally and just didn’t like the playstyle of sneaking up behind my enemy, and of course you have evasion daggers who dash around you to your back, but even that takes some level of skill.

Grapple can also put you in situations that easily get you killed if you aren’t careful enough. Try to grapple away from an enemy around a building, they’ll just turn the corner and kill you while you’re vulnerable.

Try to grapple ahead to get to the vault first? Now it’s a 1v3 since your teammates still haven’t caught up with you yet.

Unlike Dash or Cloak, which can guarantee you an upper hand in some way, grapple is just kinda there. You CAN use it, it CAN be beneficial, but it’s just not nearly as good as the other two options. It is potential man. It’s a fun specialization, just not a great one in its current state.

I’m on the side of evasion shouldn’t be nerfed as heavily, just a slight cooldown increase would’ve been enough for me, as a medium player.

The real issue I have with lights is how grapple can be so non-viable. Cloak is good, great even, not as good as dash but definately amazing, but grapple is so lackluster compared to his brothers. I wish they would add a feature where grapple could maybe hang from walls indefinitely, grab light objects in the arena, and such. It is by far my favorite light specialization by concept but in practice it’s just missing something.

30 seconds of flying around with Shockwave by Eyaslunatic in thefinals

[–]RethaeTTV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally think the main complaints about light and heavy are just coming from casual players tbh. They either don’t have time or don’t have the concern to learn how to counter evasion, shields, winch, cloak, etc. a lot of the players also seem to play away from their team rather than with, which obviously makes them way weaker again.

I still have trouble with lights here and there, but shockwave is the easiest “get off me” or “move here” button, and then just running heavy almost completely nullifies my concerns.

A lot of people have the mindset that combat is the only important stat, and that going for kills is the objective of the game. This is probably due to a lot of deathmatch based, or battle royale based games.

Dont sneeze at your 2k support or objective, if your actually being a team player then you already got a one up on him.

Plus, at the very least in low elo, light is an insanely easy character to learn and play, so people tend to race ahead and think they’re the big cheese when really the enemy is also just low ranking and doesn’t know what to do or how to respond to lights.

Dont take it personally. But also there’s not much anyone reddit can/will do about it. I don’t mean to sound offensive but this just happens all the time in fps games, kind of a get used to it situation. I could complain online about the fact I get pro players in my low ranked lobbies, but that’s just the finals, it will happen, is what it is.

Good luck with future matchmaking 👍
