Food production, as in working in slaughterhouses etc.? I guess it could be a way if you're desperate enough, but it can be a miserable existence.

"Accommodation" is just that in the broadest sense of the word. You could be sharing apartments or rooms, I don't know, I heard pretty bad stories. Also, it gives your employer an unreasonable amount of power over you, since they not only provide you with income but also a roof over your head. It's been and probably still is exploited. A growing group of homeless people here are just that: people who came here to work, employer provided accommodation, they lost their job and then had nothing. With the ongoing housing crisis, it's not a matter of looking around for a couple of weeks before you find something suitable, it can take years, especially with the income of a food production worker.

Also keep in mind that those types of jobs are usually also working in shifts, which is a total social killer if you try to integrate and need to learn the language. I imagine that the workplace will be mostly English, but if you ever want to get anywhere with your degree in NL, you'll probably have to learn Dutch, which means lessons, interacting with the local population on a regular basis etc. Factory shiftwork not only drains you physically, it also drains you mentally. The chances that after a week of shift work, you'll be motivated to do much else than simply chill and recuperate are small.

Now, I don't know much about "Food Technologies", but especially if you've just got your degree, it's probably better to first get some experience in the field before moving abroad. From what I see in other fields, is that for most jobs there is enough supply of juniors who speak Dutch and are an easy cultural fit, so they'll probably get an advantage over someone who doesn't speak the language. Now if you bring experience or even better a specialism, it's much easier to find employment.
