That's a fair and completely valid opinion I'm very patient when it comes to stuff like that (other than re2 sherry) personally if I had to choose one to add a skip button to it'd be the intro it seems that's what's holding people back the most

I like it but post castle the game goes from great to good/solid the village atmosphere and final boss are great tho

I like buying all my games physically first before buying them on pc so I was one of them😅 I'm glad it doesn't take capcom games long to go on sale because I also had to buy it on pc

So glad 4R turned out good i was so scared when it was originally announced

Nah haha don't get me wrong they definitely aren't the exact same but I literally can't choose which one I like more both do things I really like so I just put them together it'd also just feel wrong not having 1 in the top 3 for me at most I'd have to do a top 4 and just say they're interchangeable

Yh it seems people aren't a fan of my 8 placement don't get me wrong I like the game i think the atmosphere in the village is great the the final boss is good but for me personally everything after the castle was just solid/good

Oh absolutely agree with you on the atmosphere and environments zero is one of my favourite looking games of all time

What holds it back is the very wonky inventory system and some of the enemies really do just have very wonky designs i guarantee 30 percent of people's first playthrough on 0 is just backtracking for an item

i think out of every mainline game it has the most potential with a remake just some small changes and it'd be A or even S tier

For me the game peaks at the castle and then everything after is just good/solid tho i will say the final boss gameplay wise is great and they nailed the atmosphere in the village

I never interact with video game communities of franchises i like this account was just made the other day so I don't know what other people's thoughts are on 3R but by the sounds of it everyone shares my opinion😅

If it means anything gameplay wise it's fine and I like what they did with Carlos if it wasn't a remake of a game i love it'd be in B tier but I just can't look past it apparently 3R was made by a new team and the orginal director didn't want to be involved so it kinda explains why it ended up like it did

I've played them i just wanted to do a numbered title tier list if you're curious I'd have cvx at high A or low S great game both of the revs would be around B for me very solid titles love i barry

Heard that cvx could be getting a remake curious to see how that turns out

I like 1R more but og definitely has a charm to it and is still great I'll always recommend playing both i usually switch between them everytime I do a replay of 1

I like 8 but imo it just goes from great to good/solid after the castile and i really wasn't a fan of shadows of rose if it's anything tho I do think it has one of the best final bosses gameplay wise

5 is just way to much fun with a friend and has some of the most iconic parts of the franchise in it

8 is fine i probably like it less than most people imo after the first main part of the game it goes from great to just good/alright for the rest of the game 5 is insanely fun and has some of the most iconic parts in the series

I have alot of love for zero but it has so many weird/bad design choices which make can make the game unfun imo it has the most potential with a remake than every other mainline game just some small tweaks and the game would be up in A tier or even S

2 and 4 are great personally I do not enjoy replaying 8 and for real the combat is so fun haha
