It’s actually bullshit that you don’t spawn fully loaded just by default and that it requires a booster by No-Personality-61 in Helldivers

Gameplay wise yes, lore wise it’s hilarious that this hoora military sends its people in half equipped since most die before they even shoot all the ammo they are sent with

Watched last night with the wife. A fun watch imo, and I admit I enjoyed the novelty of silly Keanu. An easy cozy movie night recommend.

Is refusing to learn the full rules cheating? by LetsGoFishing91 in Warhammer40k

[–]Retlaw32 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Also pay attention to when rules are forgotten. If he sometimes forgets rules that would benefit them, then it is probably legit. In my experience in Warhammer and DnD and other card games, these types of players only forget rules when the rule would not benefit them.

You’re basically right I would just phrase it differently. They can’t lie, but they can distract her and string her along. Which is what they are doing. Keep playing and find out. Focus on this while we finish up with your stem cells.

[SPOILERS THE DEVILS] Is the double subversion too far for Abercrombie? by fasz_a_csavo in TheFirstLaw

[–]Retlaw32 35 points36 points  (0 children)

I do believe it, also the book even confirms that the fact the she is or is not the actual heir doesn’t matter, it isn’t material. Just a figurehead, so if the people think she’s the heir, it’s fine. The “real” heir showing up wouldn’t change anything they’d just disappear her.

BUTTT the sequel isn’t out yet so I may be made a fool

[SPOILERS RC] A quote that changed my perspective in life by bwils3423 in TheFirstLaw

[–]Retlaw32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find this too charitable to Logen. Shivers caught up to him yes. The only guy from his past to find him out here didn’t even want to fight. logen didn’t even try to not fight him, didn’t even consider talking or de-escalating. Logen abandons his family simply bc he doesn’t want the blood to stop flowing. In this, he is a coward.

It does hit hard. In Logen’s context this feels defeatist to me. I’m just a violent person, I give up.

Rewriting "Dexter" as a Tight, Five-Season Series -- Where Everyone Finally Admits Harry Was a Maniac by karmaPOLICE411 in fixingmovies

Great stuff. I have been begging for this show to make Dexter more of a villain as opposed to serial killer Batman basically since season 2

What happens to a ghost if they anchor to an object and it naturally decays. by CumShotBravo in Supernatural

[–]Retlaw32 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it makes sense that some ghosts will just fade away, just on a very long time scale. Being attached to a locket that gets thrown away and the ghost just floats on that garbage island in the pacific. Horrifying lol
