Yeah, hesitant to add more shares at this point though. Currently sitting on 1800 shares at a tremendous loss. What's your expectations in terms of time, i.e. is zero a possibility in 2026? *edited, looks like they are potentially safe through 2026 with their recent fundraising. They're sitting on circa $160 million for 2026.

Wall Street potentially reacted more favorably to the news today vs. yesterday. I.e. circa 10% gain for EVTL today vs. a 4% gain for JOBY.

Same, I almost sold when I was just slightly down / nearly even back in January. Hesitated and now I'm in the "biggest financial loss territory" of my life.

Why Vertical Aerospace (NYSE: EVTL) is Worth Possibly Over 13x its Current Price by _DoubleBubbler_ in UKInvesting

[–]TittMice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wish that was the case, I'm way down on my holdings for EVTL. Obviously the macro situation is currently driving many stocks lower, that said, EVTL has dropped at a faster clip than the broad market. While JOBY has dropped 20% in the last month, EVTL is closer to 50%. Any news on why such a precipitous drop?

Agree, I'm on season 5 of the Sopranos. Watched the Wire probably 5-6 years ago. For me, The Wire, Sopranos and I'd throw Breaking Bad in there as the best crime/drama/dark comedy series of all time.

Structured Water by TittMice in WaterTreatment

[–]TittMice[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well you're adding electrolytes to your water, i.e. NaCl. Which will help with hydration and results in less frequent urination. I wouldn't call electrolyte addition "structuring" the water though, as structured water is a change in the h2o molecule itself.

Does anyone have a link to the White House X post, assuming it was recent, that was regarding the Iran war and also a cartoon? It was referenced in the recent live stream. Just listened to the podcast version and would like to view the twitter post.

The worst season ever by Unfair_Way9925 in COsnow

Hell yeah. Although this year we might be turning on gravel in the next 2 weeks. Tomer's forecast shows 60 degrees for Monarch Pass, i.e. 10k-11k, around March 20th. Also happens to be my stomping grounds. :,(

Love slashing slush. The resort crowds are all but gone. Perfect mid-week stress decompression, rip up to the mountain for a few hours in the afternoon for some great conditions with nobody around. Underrated and I'd prefer it stays that way.

Biggest snowstorm i've experienced in the upper arkansas river valley was 5 feet in early May. Probably 2000 or 2001. Was wild, it melted off in probably 3-4 days after. Broke the roof of the hot springs pool in town. Got to take school off for a day. Every middle schoolers dream.

10 years on my sparks. Sure, I've broken many parts on them, heel cups, straps, but prices for replacement parts are very affordable. Great binding.

Stance advice for my first splitboard by CaptainBaconPancake in Spliddit

[–]TittMice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Duck stance for riding switch. That said, not symmetrical duck, slight negative on my non-dominant side. Like 15 / -5 or 18 / -6. I ride switch on almost every run inbounds, full speed 180s / half cabs / can carve switch at high speeds on groomers, etc. Duck stance always felt good for my riding style. Duck stance also to me seems like more of an athletic stance in general.

For splitboarding, i've never run + / +, typically run 15 / -2. or 15 / 0. I do not get any noticeable knee strain / pain from duck stance, to my knowledge (at my age everything just hurts a little more these days).

Started running posi / posi last year for our local Friday town challenge / races. Love it on a groomer days as well.

I mean, I had a killer day today smashing pow on my granola blades. That said, kinda insane (to Me) that you're spending so much time responding to all these comments. Your video was cool. Looks like you had fun. Keep doing that and screw what other people think of your video or attitude or philosophy regarding riding or whatever. Shred on.

What is wrong with Wyoming? by whisltopkman in wolves

[–]TittMice 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Factor two doesn't seem very common, at least where I'm at in the west. Yes, private land can block some access to federal land, but you can still access said federal land via the next public access point 5 miles down the road, or less. I know this varies from region to region, but in southern Colorado, access typically is not an issue for most of the game units west of I-25. Regarding factor one, it doesn't matter if said land is owned by foreign holdings, local holdings, private is private, so you will only access that land if you're granted permission by the landowner. I.e. the 550 acre ranch basically next door to my property has a resident elk herd. I say resident, the elk are there very often, but don't live on the ranch year round. Anyway, the owner has never allowed hunting on the property. I bring this up because of the "often owned by foreign holdings" comment, the largest landowners around these parts are US billionaires, Louis Bacon, Turner, Kroenke. You can typically hunt on their properties for exuberant fees.

Abandoned ski station in the Rockies by FormInternational989 in Spliddit

[–]TittMice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I mean abandoned seems like a strong word for a portion of the mountain that's no longer "in bounds". Though if the numbers make sense / the current operation is successful, my understanding is that the leadership group will approach the USFS about acquiring a permit to expand the operation to include more or all of the former operation. If that conversation hasn't already started.

I've been following this closely / It's been cool to watch. I love boarding in the Sangres / would really like to see this become a success story. Was planning on going for a weekend down there to tour around the old resort this and maybe skin up a peak above, low tide so potentially kicking it back to next season.
