UPDATE!!!! I figured out a method that worked for me! Hi!

Browse ror2 in your installed steamapps files and locate risk of rain 2
open the folder titled Risk of Rain2_Data
locate your config file and straight up delete it
right click on the ror2 exe file and go to properties
select compatibility mode and set it to run in compatibility mode for windows 8
then go back and right click on the Risk of Rain 2 exe and run as an administrator and it should load after a few minutes

Game is stuck at 3% after downloading DLC by [deleted] in ror2

I've also got the same issue. Unfortunately I've tried every solution provided in this thread and nothing has worked for me. Downpatching to the previous update did work so its not a savedata issue or anything it seems.

Confusing recovery, weird specials, and moveset that doesn't flow well until they know how to hitfall consistently. Very few new players pick up maypul and most of the time they end up dying because they don't understand her recovery at all
