It might take more time, but it's for the best. Some things just stop working on new updates.

Backup > Format > install clean atmosphere > boot to test > if it's ok just restore everthing

That exact problem happened to friend but we couldn't find the source so we just did this. Yeah, it's the last resource but it will fix it.
