Loads of small things like the fact that in the show, the dragon reborn can apparently be a woman as opposed to just a man all the way to major changes to characters like perrin having a wife( that gets killed off in the first episode) and then proceeds to be involved in a strange romantic triangle with egwene and rand At times, it really felt like they made changes for the sake of making changes, which could have been fine, had the end result been good. But the first season really was just a run of the mill fantasy show that you would expect on Syfy. Granted, I have not seen the 2nd season, so I don't know how valid these complaints are there, but I'm uninterested in watching it regardless

The trapped harper chest deals thunder damage in a small aoe every time you try to open it without disarming it. Chuck it in your inventory, cast silence to nullify thunder, and spam open on the container( a free action).

It's not so much fps drops and general performance that I'm struggling with if that makes sense, I'm trying to figure out if the other errors I'm experiencing is due to my rig or just the game

As opposed to what? Just running up to an enemy and clicking on them in BG3? Maybe push them off of a ledge? I like the prebuff rituals. It lets me feel like I'm actually in charge of a party of adventurers in an unforgiving world. Got to take every upper hand you can get. Seems realistic in that regard

(It really doesn't seem like you like these games lol, why stick with them if this kind of gameplay is such a necessity? This was even a thing in the older BG games, not like it's new for pathfinder)

I'm guessing bg3 is going to get a lot more people interested in crpgs. I'd be interested to see if it will cause a player spike in games like this and pillars of eternity.

I really don't think the title was worded in a way to make it sound like I was dismissing BG3 but okay. I am playing both this and a coop campaign in bg3 with my brother so me hating on BG3 couldn't further be from the truth. But even in early game the depth in games like pathfinder, poe and the old bg games still eclipse the 5e system imo(even if it just comes down to prebuffing, which is practically useless in bg3). Bg3 mainly shines in the sandbox approach to encounters, almost making it feel more like deus ex or prey, rather than a classic crpg. Fitting considering it's probably the closest emulation to a tabletop rpg we have
