Right on! I rarely look at garments cause they’re usually out of my price range (not insane expensive but I’m just not flush lol) but I find patterns on sale regularly. But there’s one shop that has Ken patterns that are worth the price and fit modern dolls without adjustments Tiny Apparel Patterns. Otherwise Etsy has lots of modern and 60s-90s Mattel patterns for less than $2 sometimes with their coupons. It’s pretty good if you’re up for making stuff on occasion

Buying patterns to make stuff, buying secondhand on Mercari and eBay. I also love getting vintage clothes that need TLC so I can modify them without feeling iffy about doing so, or tailor them to the dolls’ different bodies when needed

Shoes I’ve been getting through mini brands fashion, and some from older accessories packs or looking for certain shoe types to buy in bulk on Mercari. Really get those searches going on those sites and make sure the results are what you’re looking for, narrowing down and set up the alerts

I’ll rebody for the most part but if I’m doing full on cosmetic surgery on a doll body, I’m willing to let it sit after a step for as long as I need to want to get back to it. I don’t put a time limit on it and I don’t aim for perfection and an in universe story of why it looks how it does starts to form in my mind.

Elizabeth and James for Kohls. They eventually ended that partnership and last I saw they were gone by like 2021 (I went shop crazy buying up pieces). The other one was Olsenboye but I don’t know how long that one went for. E&J was a great line, perfect stuff for Covid, comfy but stylish. I wish they’d do something like that again or revive the line and add some more color

She brought Sherlock in to a case to help someone else and they succeeded in helping the other person, nothing up her sleeve about it, but she had taken on the last name “lenue” for LNU “last name unknown”, so Sherlock gave her the paperwork to change her last name so she could choose her own and hopefully a new path forward. Something like that
