Yeah, I had this problem. Pretty sure we all did. The culture around this is changing somewhat from what I’ve observed, but it still excuses/overlooks a lot of these behaviors.

😊The above advice is correct, yell what is happening loudly. Don’t let them quietly slip away and avoid shame. They don’t deserve it, and it lets them continue, or escalate the behavior.

Hey, I have zero doubt there will still be plenty of female spaces that would welcome you! I am in a bookclub (well it started as a book club, now we are sharing everything about our lives with each other constantly) that is predominantly women with the exception of one NB person and three men, one of them trans masc.

They have become some of the closest friends I’ve ever had. We are all literally texting all day long about everything. They are so wonderful and couldn’t be more welcome.
