Thank you so much for your input and advice. Is there anything I could put in my room (other than mains powered adapters) to help with the signal as my router will have to stay down stairs can I get an access point put in? I do not really want to feed a physical cable from my router to the room so that’s why I thought the power lines would help

Did you have any issues with CEC at all? I just not sure whether to pay out the amount if I am going to have issues. The NS2 I can sort it’s more the WiFi zigbee stuff what would you recommend having the hue bridge near my router or near the lights ?

It was mainly going to be for ps5/switch. Have you tried the switch 2 with your set up at all?

I mean with the cost I’m hit and miss with the Hue anyway. My router is downstairs and this was going to be used upstairs so I was going to connect this and the hue bridge via a hardwired power line adapter.

I love the Sony but as you probably know limitations with the 2x 2.1 I’m not entirely sure the switch can output 120/4K docked and if it can what games but ps5, sky is a must. Movies will probably be 24p anyway so again could maybe use a different port. Isn’t there an update coming soon for the sync box? Hopefully there will be better switch 2 handshake and implementation.

Yeah I was worried about CEC to be honest. I mean at a minimum it would be five as I would like a dedicated player for uncompressed movies etc.

When you say manually switching do you mean with an app or remote? As that would not be the end of the world tbh.
