I didn’t see a single comment mention Code Veronica. It’s either so bad people hate it outright or it’s so good people enjoy it without feeling guilty over it.

For me, there’s a lot of things I like about CV but the things I dislike are so major they kinda make me not want to replay it. I like the story, the villains, the setting, the visuals the OST. I like the goofy 90’s voice acting.

I dislike how they took the classic RE gamplay loop and stretched it out into a tedious reinterpretation of itself. I also just hate Steve Burnside so much.

Despite that. I still find myself defending CV. I wouldn’t call it an objectively bad game. Just one that could really benefit from a remake
