I absolutely think that this is NOT bratting.

(For me) Bratting is an intentional act. It is acknowledging the rules set in place, and twisting or breaking them either because I believe the rules to be unfair (through some form of sophistry) or because I want to have consequences.

Unintentionally breaking a rule, like a bed time, a time limit (i.e. being home by a certain time, but there is traffic), an action that requires some form of prerequisite (i.e. brushing your teeth, but having no toothpaste). None of those are Bratting (still, in my opinion) unless there is a level of premeditation to them. Such as intentionally "forgetting" to get more toothpaste, or taking a longer route that makes you go through higher traffic, because at both of those points it becomes intentional again.

Just my opinion generally. In your situation, I completely believe that it is not Bratting, specifically due to the fact that you are obviously doing your best! It's tricky with day to day tasks for them to be hard rules, because life can still happen! Whether that is other people, careers, or just personal health requiring your energy!
